Very nice place with nice hosts. Very quite and it has a pool + hot tub as well as an outdoor gym. If you love nature and the feeling of community you will probably like it. It has a small breakfast but there is always someone ready to help you out if you need something else. If you enjoy a place that feels like a community with a lot of events (like yoga classes or even late-night fire pits) its the right place.

We had a wonderful stay at Thistle Cottage Alojamento Local last weekend! We’d like to sincerely thank the hosts for their flexibility with the check-in time — our flight to Porto was delayed, and it was such a relief to be welcomed warmly despite our late arrival. The cottage itself is very nice, comfortable, and peaceful — the perfect place to relax and enjoy a quiet getaway. Everything was clean and thoughtfully arranged, and we felt right at home. The owner was extremely friendly and receiving, our room was extremely clean with all new furniture and very efficient aircon. We also enjoyed the pool which was super refreshing after very warm day, I would not hesitate to return to this accommodation it is highly recommended when in CasteloBranco
