The staff were unbelievably helpful. We had difficulties finding the route to the city ( it can be tricky but it is a fun ride) and the staff were in touch with us via whatsapp. THe hotel is a gem in the middle of nowhere. Very nice rooms and very comfortable. Food was super duper. I really recommend. The staff sent us on a very beautiful hike in the morning.

If someone is looking for a home-like environment, peace and warm and friendly hosts, this is definitely a great choice. I was looking for accommodation near the meanda of the river Vjosa and this place had excellent reviews until I thought it couldn't be true. As it turned out, the reviews fell even further short of reality. I arrived at the place at almost dark, but the local lady was already waiting for me and took me in right away. I was staying alone, but the apartment is perfect for a whole family or two couples - two separate rooms and a kitchen gives enough space for 4 people. And the terrace in front of the apartment with the possibility of a wonderful view is uncrowded. Add to that the incredibly helpful hosts who went out of their way to meet my every need. I ordered a classic local dinner before I arrived and I must say I had a great time. I left a small tip when I paid, but the hosts felt it was too much so they made me a fantastic breakfast for free in the morning and the host and I had a great conversation via google translator and I got a local specialty to go. I highly recommend this place - not only is the scenery beautiful, there are many interesting places to spend free time in the wider area, but the hosts are great and even more so than usual in Albania. I plan to come here at least one more time and not alone, but also with my family and for more than one, as now I was only here for one night and alone as part of a trip.
