We wanted to visit Butrint and were lucky to find Villa 5 in Mursi which is only 15min drive away, including the ferry crossing. It is in a semi-rural setting next to the lake. The beautiful, modern, very spacious apartment is on the upper floor of the house and has a balcony looking across the lake. The hosts were very kind and hospitable, there was water and fruit in the fridge on our arrival. The breakfast was probably the best we had in Albania. We ate at the local bar/restaurant called Todi and had delicious fish.

This is not just a hotel, but a place with a soul. The owner is an incredibly sincere person with a wonderful attitude, making you feel like a truly special guest. The atmosphere is unforgettable, and the service is top-notch. The restaurant offers exceptionally delicious cuisine! I would especially like to mention Goni and Joti – their service was a pleasant surprise; they create real comfort and set the perfect mood during dinner. Breakfast is also very tasty, and the waiter who served it was extremely friendly and attentive. The hotel is in a great location – just a 3-minute walk to the sea, with a supermarket nearby. Here you truly feel cared for and surrounded by a special atmosphere. It was a vacation that will stay in your heart.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Porta Ksamil. The staff went above and beyond to help organize a small birthday surprise for my friend, which made our trip even more special. We loved our experience at this hotel. We highly recommend it. We will come back and will definitely stay here again. The hotel is modern, super clean, and quiet. The rooms are huge, beautiful, and very comfortable. It has a family-friendly and super cozy atmosphere. The breakfast food has a lot of variety and is very tasty, and the restaurant food is simply divine. One of us is vegan, and although there weren’t vegan options on the breakfast buffet, they prepared a special vegan breakfast for her every day and always brought it to the table. The staff is super friendly and attentive— special thanks to Fabiola who was amazing. Always with a smile and ready to help with anything, always checking if everything was okay. The younger staff at the bar/restaurant are also really nice. They gave us lots of suggestions on what to do and directions on how to get there. Overall, our experience was amazing—we’ll definitely be back. Thank you for everything!

Incredible nice service, the breakfast was delicious and you can get drinks there at night as well. It’s around 8 minutes away from the beach so you can easily walk there. Had a lot of nice conversations, super friendly and really informative. Also if you have any questions or if you need something, you will get all the support you need! Thanks a lot for this great stay - I highly enjoyed it and would recommend it!
