Fugen is a great base for the Zillertal Valley.
Fugen is a great base for the Zillertal Valley. There are good restaurants and bars and it is less noisy than some places. Easy road and rail access to the other resorts. We have stayed in this village several times. We really like not having to queue at bust times to get up the valley. We always leave early to get on the lifts and the roads are quiet then. A beautiful, friendly village with plentiful amenities and stunning vistas. Well connected with only a 30 minute drive to the city of Innsbruck. Many fantastic climbs for those into rock climbing and bouldering all accessible within 45 minutes of the village. Local cafes and restaurants are authentic and well priced.Guest review bySteven
