Great location for the slopes super friendly staff and very welcoming and always happy to help. Hotel was very clean with super comfortable beds. The food was probably the best we have ever had with a great menu for all We drive over to Austria every year and struggle to find accommodation with parking but the carpark was large and they even made us a pack lunch for are early departure. I can't not recommend this family run hotel enough if you like winter sports or summer sports it has everything you need they are very accommodating. We tried to speak as much of the language as we can but it wasn't an issue here. I honestly can not recommend this hotel more will definitely be returning thank you Wiesnegg.

There is really nothing to complain about here. My wife and I stayed for 5 days - a long weekend and we were really very satisfied: very nice staff, rooms, breakfast, dinner, tasting barbecue evening, wine tasting, covered parking for cars, heated bike room (bike lift), bike wash, sauna, swimming pool - we will definitely come back. I love you!

This was the best stay I’ve had… ever, in the area of the Kitzbüheler Alpen! I will not go anywhere else, this hotel and its chalets are simply perfect, the staff was very friendly, breakfast was excellent, our chalet was simply over the top. Huge space with an incredible sauna and super comfy beds, fire place, I can go on and on!

Hochfilzen is great for cross-country skiing, its wery close...

Hochfilzen is great for cross-country skiing, its wery close to Fieberbrunn downhill skiing lift. There's nordic academy where they rent cross country skiing equipment and offer great biathlon experience for dummies. Biathlon experience was really enjoyable. But when weather goes bad, there's nothing to do there and area around. Even no restaurant is open during the day. Closest restaurants are located in Fieberbrunn or Leogang. In Leogang they charged parking fee 9 Eur during 1 hour stop for the lunch break.

We like the location. From the railway station it is a walk of 5 - 10 minutes. The cross country ski trail is right at the hotel. As there was not much snow we preferred to do some nice hikes. The breakfast was very good (buffet). If somebody likes dinner it can be served as well. There are 3 choices or it is a buffet dinner. Our room was quiet and it offered a nice view. The room itself was spacious and the bathroom was nice. The staff was excellent and friendly.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are close to Innsbruck or South Bavaria. We traveled from there to Berchtesgaden and it took us through breathing windy roads through the Alps. We arrived late and we were welcomed by friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet and also a cooked option. Delicious. And the restaurant was with the view - the hotel is based in the middle of the mountains. Room and bathroom were spotless clean. Piece and quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel was extremely easy to reach with public transport as were all of the places in the area that we visited. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The actual location of the hotel was stunning, we got to wake up to a view of mountains every day. Breakfast was also delicious with a great range of options.

Chalet Karin is a beautiful, spacious and very clean house. It is very well equipped with everything one would need even during long stay. Very good place for skiers close to Fiberbrun, Leogang, St. Jakob in House, Waidring and of course Hochfilzen ski areas.
