I highly recommend this hotel if you are close to Innsbruck or South Bavaria. We traveled from there to Berchtesgaden and it took us through breathing windy roads through the Alps. We arrived late and we were welcomed by friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet and also a cooked option. Delicious. And the restaurant was with the view - the hotel is based in the middle of the mountains. Room and bathroom were spotless clean. Piece and quiet. Highly recommended.

This was one of the best hotel stays I’ve had in a long time! From the moment I arrived, everything felt well-organized, exceptionally clean, and had a warm, personal touch. The service was outstanding in every aspect—friendly and attentive staff, excellent housekeeping, efficient check-in and check-out, and a team always willing to offer great recommendations for things to do in town. I celebrated my birthday during my stay, and the hotel went above and beyond to make it extra special, which was such a thoughtful touch. The spa facilities were a highlight—there’s a beautiful heated outdoor pool with drink service, as well as an indoor spa area with saunas and a steam room, all kept impeccably clean and truly relaxing. The hotel’s modern facilities, comfortable rooms with cozy beds, and charming little balconies made the stay even more enjoyable. The location is fantastic—just a short walk from one of the main gondolas for skiing, with the rest also within walking distance. Being right in town meant we had everything we needed close by. We also dined at the hotel’s restaurant several nights, and the food was absolutely delicious—we kept coming back for more! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved the design of the hotel, it’s beautiful! The spa is amazing and the Christmas themed lobby smelling of cinnamon is just the cutest. The food is great, also vegetarian options and all their staff is incredibly friendly from cleaning ladies to reception! ❤️ They even prepared a little lovey dovey surprise for us since we just got engaged. Very thoughtful!

Hochfilzen is great for cross-country skiing, its wery close to Fieberbrunn downhill skiing lift. There's nordic academy where they rent cross country skiing equipment and offer great biathlon experience for dummies. Biathlon experience was really enjoyable. But when weather goes bad, there's nothing to do there and area around. Even no restaurant is open during the day. Closest restaurants are located in Fieberbrunn or Leogang. The village itself isn't very interesting.

The village itself isn't very interesting. The trails are lovely for an evening stroll (because they're lit), but otherwise, there's nothing. The location is well-connected to both Leogang and Fieberbrunn, so it's a great budget-friendly option for those destinations.

Hochfilzen boasts fantastic hiking trails amidst breathtaking mountain scenery. The village itself is quite small, with no clothing shops, but it does have a supermarket and charming little mountain huts and restaurants. The next town is easily accessible, and beautiful destinations like Kitzbühel and Kirchberg in Tirol are nearby.

Hochfilzen itself is rather quiet, but with its supermarket, bakery, and its own ski lift and cross-country ski trails, it's worth a visit. For a bit more hustle and bustle, you can reach Fieberbrunn or Leogang in 10 minutes and Kitzbühel in 30-40 minutes.

We came for the Biathlon World Cup event.

We came for the Biathlon World Cup event. So our stay was spent between the event and our accommodation, eating out for dinner. Nevertheless, the air is fresh and the countryside peaceful. Ideal for a mountain getaway with hiking. The people are friendly.

A great base for activities.

A great base for activities. There's a small supermarket and ATM. Hotel and restaurant Edelweiss offers food and drinks. A busy main road and railway line run through the village, along which many accommodations are located.

I highly recommend this hotel if you are close to Innsbruck or South Bavaria. We traveled from there to Berchtesgaden and it took us through breathing windy roads through the Alps. We arrived late and we were welcomed by friendly staff. Breakfast was a buffet and also a cooked option. Delicious. And the restaurant was with the view - the hotel is based in the middle of the mountains. Room and bathroom were spotless clean. Piece and quiet. Highly recommended.

The hotel was extremely easy to reach with public transport as were all of the places in the area that we visited. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The actual location of the hotel was stunning, we got to wake up to a view of mountains every day. Breakfast was also delicious with a great range of options.

The hotel located in the picturesque area with lots of parking space. The sleeping facility is the most comfortable, especially after a ski day. Personal professional and very friendly. Breakfast is full of verify with wonderful view on the mountain. It was the nicest vacation in two years for me 👏🤍💙

Chalet Karin is a beautiful, spacious and very clean house. It is very well equipped with everything one would need even during long stay. Very good place for skiers close to Fiberbrun, Leogang, St. Jakob in House, Waidring and of course Hochfilzen ski areas.

Super hôtel , the most expensive one I have ever been, but sauna and wellness after skiing day is worth paying! Staff was very friendly,great breakfasts in the morning, great location! It was very comfortable in general,thank you very much !
