Incredible location, with beautiful views of the mountains. The spa area is in excellent condition, and very tastefully designed, as is the rest of the hotel. The terraces are beautiful, and the food is excellent.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is a little out of town but this also means it is very peaceful. You can walk down to the town via a delightful path through the forest. The path is well marked and easy to follow. The local bus service stops near the hotel too. The breakfast room has very nice views across the valley and the hotel restaurant serves very nice meals.

The hotel was beautiful, the facilities were excellent, the staff were fantastic. The beds were really comfortable and the hotel was spotless. Every detail was considered. The restaurant was top quality- the food was excellent. Heidi was so welcoming and so helpful and friendly. We had a really nice stay and we will be back.

Itter is basically very small village, but on the other hand...

Itter is basically very small village, but on the other hand, you can find there all of services what you exactly need when you are in vacation. Definitely go with cabin to Hohe Salve and try to go down the hill. It´s almost 10km and 900hm. There are couple of restaurants and small COOP and bakery. You can also buy food directly in the barn

Itter is well-positioned and serves as a great base for exploring the various villages in the area (everything is about a 10- to 15-minute drive away). This allowed us to easily use a different ski lift/gondola each day and explore the entire ski resort (Ski Welt).

Itter isn't actually a village, but rather a collection of small settlements. Apart from a few hotels and a small supermarket, there's absolutely nothing to do here. The winter sports area is easily accessible from Itter.

We didn't visit Itter itself as a village, but it's a perfect starting point for skiing. It's beautifully situated in the heart of the Brixen ski area. The valley run is lovely, though less experienced skiers will find it quite challenging, but it's definitely doable! At the bottom of the gondola are two ski shops, so plenty of ski rentals are available, and there's also a perfect place to store your skis during the week. Ski right up to your locker.

It was the most wonderful place we have ever stayed in Austria. The hosts were so friendly Coffee and cake on arrival. It was very hot and the apartment was so lovely and cool. The garden was amazing. We did not want to leave.
