We love the view around the guest house especially the gigantic mountains around it. The location is for hikers, like us, perfect. It is not so far from Leutasch Gorge (2.5 Km, 30 Min. walk), as well as not so far from Mittenwald (5 km, around 1 hr.) and on the other direction not so far from Weidach (6.6 km, around 1 hr.). There's also an option to take a bus and it's for free (you just show the guest card from the guest house). It is very peaceful around which is very good for relaxation after a long and exhausting hike. The guest house is very cozy and the cleanliness is very well maintained. They have a kitchen with dining area and facilities like microwave oven and refrigerator for the guest's personal food so they can eat there whenever they want to. They also have there plates, untensils, glasses, cups and dishwashing things to use. The kitchen is a very practical idea in case the restaurants are closed (which was our situation because we were there during the time that the restaurants around and in nearby areas were still not open). Their breakfast was good and sufficient. The staffs are friendly, polite and very approachable especially the owner Bart. He was always there ready to answer our querries or inform us about the areas around or some options what we could do around. Though we were there at the not so good timing because of the weather and the season, it was still a very well spent vacation for us and we were thankful that we booked this guest house! We were there to hike, relax and enjoy the view and we got it! We were very satisfied that we planned to go and stay there next time! We can only suggest and guarantee that this place is really worth it!

Beautiful, quiet area perfect for a peaceful getaway for a few days of hiking. The gorge is beautiful, it’s close to Mittenwald, and there are many hikes and biking trails in the area. There are a few restaurants and super markets but you will likely need a car to get around comfortably—although there is a bus that goes regularly. We really enjoyed Gasthof Kühteierhof for dinner—run by a local family.

Leutasch is one of the best locations for cross-country...

Leutasch is one of the best locations for cross-country skiing. You can ski right out your door and on a new trail every day. Some trails are so wonderful you'll want to repeat them. There is a supermarket and gear rental shops in the village. There is really everything you need there. Seefeld is close by if you want more shopping opportunities and more choices of restaurants and cafes.

Bus connections to all surroundings - Seefeld, Mittenwald, Scharnitz - and very often. Lots of hiking places for everybody. A wonderful area if you are a bike lover. Friends Streetfood is a good place to have a quick meal. MPreis is a great location to the shopping, but I recommend to go to Mittenwald in Germany - better prices.

Beautiful town/village with a gorgeous long road with green in every corner, across from the scenic mountains. So nice to walk around, hike or bike. So many trails in the area it is insane. Mittenwald is 7 min drive away, where you can also walk around, shop in big supermarkets, dine, go to cafes and more. Highly recommended area!

Great access point for all XC in Leutasch/Seefeld area.

Great access point for all XC in Leutasch/Seefeld area. Good bus service to link up longer routes. SO many restaurants and cafes alongside the trails but check which days they are closed! Weidach is small but central with many accommodation options, restaurants (many in the hotels), a decent enough supermarket, two ski hire shops. Trails well prepared and they are able to keep the trails open with careful track management despite minimal snow. Huge number of walking trails too, again all well prepared with refreshment stops along the way.

We have been in Leutasch many times, we can compare our vacation time this year to previous visits. Many retaurants has close down. The SPIEL PARK that was 1 of the main attraction for children is not operated, there is not enough attraction for families. The guest card in SEEFELD area is poor, we can compare to other regions in Austria, where the SOMMER CARD is very powerful like Schladming region.

The location is great, which is easy to be reached by public transportation. It's only 5 minute walk to the bus stop, and with easy connection to Seefeld/Mittenwald/Leutasch Geistklamm etc.. The room was very cozy and clean, with all well-equipped facilities more than I need. There were dish washer, cooking stove, hair dryer, really big TV, free wifi etc.. There is nice mountain view from the balcony. Free entrance for swimming pool would be included by the gast card that we would have to try next time.

Best location. we wanted to visit innsbruck , garmisch, zugspitze and all these locations were just 30 -45 minutes car drive from hotel(not sure about bus service, but I often see lot of buses moving around town, should be easier) . got free guest card for buses with our stay. Idle place for landscapes and mountains,best views . breakfast was good. Landlady was very sweet and polite. Rooms are very fresh, neat and clean. Parking available.

This is our second time staying here. This time, my wife and I were with another couple and a friend of ours. We rented two apartments. Everything was wonderful: the hosts were welcoming, the cleanliness was impeccable, and the apartments were fully equipped (kitchen, dishes). The view from the window was simply stunning! There was a balcony with chairs. We are already planning our next trip to Leutasch - definitely coming back here!

A family run hotel with a warm warm welcome. Spotlessly clean, fine breakfast buffet and excellent evening meals - traditional but always with a vegetarian option. Superb location for access to walking routes in the area. A visitor card gives complementary bus travel so Seefeld, Mittenwald and multiple walking options are easy to reach.
