Malta is a village on the way to the Berghotel. The route is ideal for everyone. You can be a motorcyclist, cyclist, or go by car, this valley really offers unforgettable views, waterfalls, high mountain lakes and plenty of hiking opportunities. We didn't stay in the valley, but you could drive and drive along the Malta HaupAlpenstrasse. We were on a motorbike.

Very nice accommodation in a quiet location with excellent breakfast and service. Great opportunities for hiking or walking in the vicinity with beautiful waterfalls. Possibility of eating directly in Malta or nearby restaurants.

Malta is situated in a beautiful area that exudes tranquility. Beautiful mountains give you a true Austrian experience. That's what you want to see there to create beautiful memories. The food at Gasthof Hochalmspitze was excellent, and the price was also very reasonable. The owners go out of their way to ensure everyone has a great time. TOP!

Lots of beautiful places in the area. A beautiful waterfall and a playground where you can stay all day. A climbing area for more experienced climbers. You can go climbing the mountains directly from Malta. Excellent restaurant Pizzeria Pfiff in the campsite, a large selection of dishes and good prices 😃

A beautiful valley with many waterfalls.

A beautiful valley with many waterfalls. The hotel is located about 20 km upstream at the end of the valley. Asking about toilet paper here is a joke, right? "Didn't work" – that would be a question you'd ask on a trip to a tropical developing country.

A pleasant, quiet town, very traditional.

A pleasant, quiet town, very traditional. It is located near the Hohe Tauern National Park and the largest dam in this part of Europe. The residents are friendly, everyone greets you as if you were one of their own. They have a large OPG, popcorn and ducks, horses and sheep in the yards, cows in the stables, idyll.

Very flexible and kind attitude from the host. They responded to all our questions/requests immediately and did their best to make us feel comfortable. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and in the evenings the bar in the basement of the house was an extra relaxing place to unwind. Compared to other available accommodation in the area, I think it is excellent value for money to stay here. The hotel is constantly evolving and the rooms are being upgraded.

The apartment is in a very pleasant location with a wonderful view, which we enjoyed while having coffee and breakfast on the balcony. The hosts are very helpful and friendly. Hiking trails from Maltaberg are easily accessible. The apartment itself is well-equipped, and we found everything we needed.

The hotel's location is excellent, breakfast is ordinary with a small selection, but everything is fresh. The restaurant has a good variety of dishes, but they were either too spicy or too salty. Prices are average. An excellent place to get away from civilization.

This hotel is in a fantastic location, high up in the mountains. Whilst the rooms are very utilitarian, the bed was comfortable, the room and bathroom were very clean and the food in the restaurant was above average. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
