A great thing about this hotel is that parking was available upon request for an additional fee, which was very convenient. Breakfast was also offered at an extra cost. A thoughtful touch: the staff adjusted the breakfast schedule to start earlier than usual on the day of the Ironman competition—very much appreciated! The staff was amazing, very friendly and helpful, available 24/7 in case of any issues. There’s also a bar and cafeteria on the ground floor where you can grab snacks or drinks at any time. We liked that the rooms were cleaned only upon request, which helps reduce environmental impact. However, a few things to note: the window in our room didn’t open fully—only a tilted (angled) opening was possible, which might be limiting if you prefer fresh air. For smokers, it’s also worth knowing that this is a non-smoking hotel, and the rooms don’t have balconies. There are, however, a few benches outside the hotel where smoking is allowed. The only other downside was the lack of a fridge in the room, which could be inconvenient for longer stays. Overall, the experience was pleasant, and we hope to return on another occasion.
