If you like beautiful views and excellent hiking possibilities, this is a place for you. Dozens of different hiking paths in different small towns located not far from each other. Recommended to book an accommodation with Stubai Super Card to enjoy free public transport and cable cars. A lovely village in the Tyrol Alps, about 20 minutes drive by car from the Stubai Glacier where we skied. Enough or restaurants and bars for evening outings, but not too crowded, not too noisy. Beautiful views of the mountains around. We would come back.Guest review byIHPPoland - 10

I have skied here many times in the past 12 years and keep coming back from the states. The town exudes that fairytale alpine charm and the access to both the Stubaier Gletscher and Schlick 2000 ski areas is wonderful. The exceptionally frequent and on-time bus system in the valley is fantastic. I fly to Munich and then come by either transport van or the train to Innsbruck and then a bus up the valley. No need for a rental car! Innsbruck is only 45 minutes away by bus and a great destination for a day off from the slopes. If you are here in late November thru Christmas the Christmas Market in the oldtown is a must!Guest review bythomasUnited States - 10

The hotel I stayed at was fantastic. Its location surrounded by picturesque nature and mountains was breathtaking, providing stunning views from the windows. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional, creating a cozy atmosphere. The facilities, including the pool and sauna, were excellent, and the cuisine was superb, with a focus on local producers. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Half board option was very good value money and included afternoon tea. The free Stubai Pass was brilliant - free bus travel and cable cars which was great. Very frequent and up and down the valley, and free travel on cable cars (one trip per day on each cable car). Drinks were excellent value at the hotels. Lots to do out and about.
