The front desk was exceptionally helpful, making us feel well taken care of throughout our stay. The multilingual staff made communication effortless, which was a great relief. I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of magazines and books available for reading. There were plenty of daily activity programs to enjoy, keeping things lively. Extremely good localisation! The ski slopes are really just outside the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful, food was delicious! Saunas were always empty so we were able to use them. The swimmingpool has water at a very pleasant temperature. The gym was also usually empty and easily usable. It was very silent in the hotel. It is a very good option to buy dinners at the hotel as there is very limited number of other open restaurants in Obertauern!

Everything was so good. Sandra, the "hausfrau" was very helpfull and friendly. The apartment was nearly new and very clean, all over the place. No trasch in the area and a beautifull wiev to the valley an the mountains.

Absolutely amazing with children and still the parents can have a bit of luxury as well. Ski in & ski out location is ideal! On site ski school for small kids is a game changer and the ski instructors are so attentive. Abundance of activities and facilities for children. Lovwly (adults only) spa on the 3rd floor allows for a break from the child friendly rest of the hotel.

It is a very beautiful and quiet town. Beautiful views of the mountains. Ideal for hiking. There is a very nice river that runs parallel to the main road. Maybe there should be an ice cream parlor in the summer. That would be nice.

Beautiful village surrounded by mountains. Here you can truly unwind! There are no supermarkets or other amenities, so plan your shopping carefully. Easily accessible by public transport. Be careful when choosing a hotel: Twengerhif does not issue a Lungau Card.

Fantastic quality and taste of the interior design. Big rooms exceeded our expectations. There are comfortable beds, good shower, well equipped kitchen - we liked everything a lot. Very clean. Nice quiet location within 8 minutes from Obertauern slops and 6 min from Mauterndorf supermarket but you definitely need a car here. Check in and the keys pick up was at the hotel reception in Obertauern. It was quick and friendly.

We were really satisfied with the hotel, it was calm and quiet there, although the hotel was placed directly near the main street. Room was clean, and we had a nice view from the balcony. The pool in the hotel was clean and we enjoyed there time alone. Breakfasts were basic but fully OK. For dinner they had traditional meels in restaurant, so we tried every evening something else. The value for money was really good :-)

The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming – their service really stood out. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, with great attention to detail. The hotel is quiet and family-friendly, with a super convenient ski room. It’s only about a 10-minute drive to the ski resort, which made everything so easy. Would definitely stay here again!

The hotel is located at the outskirts of a beautiful village in the Alps. We could hear the calming sound of the stream in our room. Nice trails nearby for a short walk with dog. Good breakfast. Friendly staff willing to give advice on how to spend time in the area.
