Breakfast was extraordinary. Practically a private luxury buffet, which is insanely diverse and high quality, with nice enterior, view and service. I have never had such an exclusive experience, though I am very critical and had been to quite a few places and have written a bunch of rather rude critics. The mansion is absolutely demandingly romantic with lake view, private lake floating platform, relaxing facility and private pier, all in all a dream tale.

We stayed for just one night off-season and were highly impressed. Every staff member we met was exceptionally kind, attentive, and genuinely warm — it honestly feels like they hire people based on how nice they are! The entire property is beautifully maintained, with great amenities: free quality bicycles and rickshaws, an indoor pool, and saunas. It’s perfect for families or anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. I can only imagine how wonderful it must be during peak season. We were truly pleased with our 24-hour stay.

We had a great stay at the Boutiquehotel. The apartment looks just like the photos and offers everything we needed. The selling point for us was obviously the terrace and being at the private beach right in front of our apartment, the view of the lake and the surrounding hills. I also enjoyed being able to take their SUP and just go for a paddle around the lake. Overall, an amazing stay, 10/10 would come back, Velden is also quite nicer in person than we initially anticipated.

It was close to the lake but far from anything to do since it was off season. The gym equipment didn't work so that was a bummer and the pool was the size of a kiddy pool. Very disappointed with this place because they overcharged me for something that was supposed to be free.

In our opinion, the city is overrated and has long since passed its peak. There are positive exceptions, but it is not Monte Carlo, even if many would like to believe or convey this. If you think you want to do that, you're welcome and please have a good time, but overall it's overpriced and you can have an even better time for the same money in other places if you want to. It's all a question of taste, those who think they have it have usually never had one. There are certainly other places in Carinthia on other lakes where you could certainly feel more comfortable. Especially when traveling as a family.

Velden is large enough to have every facility one could expect on a vacation and is beautifully located at the end of the Worthersee. Additionally one can drive to mountain walks , country restaurants and pubs or take a train for wider shopping in nearby Klagenfurt with ease

Beautiful clean rooms with large balcony. The breakfast was so delicious with many different kind of meals from salmon, hams, scrambled eggs, homemade butter, different kinds of cereas, coffee and teas! Interior of the hotel was like mix of modern art and shabby. Very nice! Hope to come again.

We loved everything about the hotel and location. Everyone working at the hotel was so friendly and even gave us an upgrade to the tower room with incredible views onto the lake and the town, we felt like on top of the world! The hotel itself the simply beautiful!
