We had an absolutely wonderful experience at the HOLZGAU HOUSE! Christine is an exceptional host looking at every detail to make sure everyone has a pleasant stay. The food and views are amazing as well as for those who ski, the Arlberg area is a great skiing resort. Cannot recommend this place enough!

We came for one night - and stayed three :) The hosts are super friendly and welcoming: they recommended several local attractions, and explained how to reach them. Breakfast was delicious and nutritious: freshly made eggs and homemade food made our day! The rooms are well-spaced and very comfortable, with beautiful wooden decor and all the amenities to make a stay comfortable. The views of the Alps are breathtaking. Overall, we had a lovely time. Apartment was very clean, even the kitchen utensils were exceptionally clean. Nadine did everything she could, to be able to give us the apartment before official check-in time. We have found everything we have needed in the apartment. Apartment is new and exceptionally big compared to other apartments we have stayed until now. It is very close to 2 ski lifts. Parking and ski room are definitely other advantages.

I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023.

I visited Warth 76 with children in December 2023. We rented apartment No. 2 on the ground floor. Both bedrooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and had en-suite bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and directly connected to the living room with a large window from which I could watch the children playing in the snow. The house has an underground garage, so I eliminated the morning cleaning of the windshield. There is a sauna available for guests. From the house, I could easily walk to the information office, the ATM, or Spar for shopping. If one doesn't feel like cooking in the evening, one can try the restaurants within walking distance, offering local and international cuisine. I drove to the nearest lift (Steffisalp) within 5 minutes, where I rented skis for the kids and enrolled them in a local ski course. Beginners and experienced skiers alike can choose between the slopes. A further 10 minute drive (or local Skibus) takes you to cross-country (Salober), classic and skate skiing or you can take the cable car from here to the next ski resort, Lech. Warth 76 is the choice for anyone who likes to stay nice and comfortable on holiday, while having all the luxuries of an alpine resort within easy reach. They also have snow :o)

Warth is at the edge of the huge ski-area from Warth, via...

Warth is at the edge of the huge ski-area from Warth, via Lech, Zürs, Stuben and finaly Sankt Anton (all connected). A ski trip from Warth to St. Anton and back (via Zug) will take a day (42km) but is beautifull. Warth is very quiet but there are après ski opportunities (at Steffisalp). Warth is less expensive as Lech and not so crowded on the slopes.

I liked the hotel which was super convenient for skiing with a lift less than five minutes away which you could ski back to at the end of the day, also a reliable ski bus to get to other lifts. Not a problem for me but the village seemed very quiet - few shops and most of the restaurants and bars in hotels

We stayed at Wolfegg during our LechWeg hike. We walked here from Lech. It was a picturesque walk along the river and through the forest. It’s a bit further from the main road. We rented an apartment with a balcony, so we could cook inside. It was clean and cosy. There is a sauna available to use. Breakfast is available for an additional charge of 20 euros during the summer. It’s delicious! The staff were very helpful and nice.

Property was well located for Ski lifts, shops, restaurants and buses. Very comfortable apartment with everything we required, secure and complete with ski/boot storage room and underground car park. Oh, and fresh bread and pastries delivered daily ! This is beginning to sound like an advert, but a special mention must go to the host, Alex, for making sure that we had everything we needed.

Family run hotel with great atmosphere. Recently renovated it affords very modern and comfortable rooms. Great breakfast. Dinner half pension sometimes lacks a little choice. Especially vegetarian options can be more creative but overall good Austrian cooking. Location very nice with slopes just across the road.

It was a perfect place for a ski holiday, the view is amazing, the apartment is super comfy and perfect for 4 people. Be able to order bread rolls and coffee capsules every morning was an asset.
