Charming little chalet in the mountains of Austria. It was located ideally for those travelling by car from Western Europe to the Adriatic Balkans. The whirlpool and the sauna were a blessing after a long drive. We took the room with a shared bathroom, which posed no problems. Everything was tidy, and the room had a nice balcony with a great view. The ladies who welcomed us were very kind. Tea/coffee/wonderful cake (!)/muesli were offered for free. The breakfast included a lunch pack with sandwiches, which made our further travel more pleasant. Overall, it was a very positive experience.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel and we sincerely recommend it! From the moment you step inside, you are greeted with warmth and professionalism. The staff is incredibly attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. We arrived around 10pm and they waited us with cold plates for that night. We had HB and the food was excellent—leaning towards fine dining, every dish was a culinary delight. Even the traditional recipes were creatively reinvented and presented in a spectacular way. Breakfast offers a wide selection of exotic fruits, cheeses, organic juices, and smoothies, along with Prosecco and other treats besides the usual breakfast things. At 3 PM, a much-appreciated snack is served, including fruits, desserts, and a snack option like soup or sausage. Dinner is sofisticated, with flavors that will impress even the most demanding guests. The lobby and restaurant are beautifully designed, offering a welcoming and elegant atmosphere. The rooms, while basic and lacking a fridge, are clean and functional (they don’t quite match the high standard set by the rest of the hotel ;) Although the hotel is not ski-in/ski-out, its location is highly convenient—just a 3-minute walk to the slopes and well-connected to the lifts. A special mention goes to the owner, who is always present and ready to help, adding a personal touch to the overall experience. This hotel combines excellent service, exceptional dining, and a prime location, making it a wonderful choice. Highly recommended!

The hotel is at a perfect place, the ski lift is right next to it, and many nice hiking, biking and motorways are starting / going here. Endless possibilities to spend time in nature. The place is super clean, the restaurant is really good. Our room was gorgeous and basically a mini apartment, well fit for longer stays. Gym, massage, pool is nice and comfortable. The staff was extremely helpful and kind, all spoke good English as well. What else does a guest need?

Very nice B&B with great attention to detail and quality! The interior of the rooms is well-done and the whole property is very clean. The breakfast selection is very rich and the quality of the food served is excellent. Max is a great host, making sure to accommodate all our needs and serving as a great companion for a chat after a day of skiing. I highly recommend the property!

Evening meal was very nice. Breakfast was very nice indeed. The owners were unbelieveably great. If you are doing an apprenticeship as Hotelfachperson then stay here for a week and watch what is going on. You will learn more in a week here in high season (just watching) than 6 months in your normal Lehrstelle about how hard running a hotel is and how people who are really good at it make it work . I worked in catering for 15 years and never saw a team like this. Even when I was in charge of the team (to my great shame).

The hotel was by far one of the best we have stayed in. Its location was perfect in a beautiful little village surrounded by beautiful scenery. Our room was comfortable, and with a balcony we could sit and soak in the very clean mountain air. The breakfast was very good and the whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Really good value for money and the staff were very warm and welcoming.

The hotel is newly renovated, is very clean, has sauna, good breakfast. There is nothing in Zederhouse except for one restaurant (we drove to St. Michael in Lungau, about 10 min drive).
