This apartment was top notch (note it is on the third floor and no lift in the complex). It was really clean, light and airy; and had all the home comforts. Lovely little touches and attention to detail from the aroma diffuser to the decor, beach towels and a kitchen stocked with everything you need to make yummy home cooked meals. Location was perfect - short stroll to the beach and shops. Hosts were great. Great value for money. Fully recommend.

It's a beautiful location with lots of cafes, lovely walks and stunning beaches. The water inside the bar is very safe especially for little children. If you want more excitement in the water you have the option of the ocean on the other side of the bar.

I love that Kings Beach at Caloundra is very compact, there...

I love that Kings Beach at Caloundra is very compact, there is a lovely promenade that you can walk along that takes you to Bulcock beach and into the main street of Caloundra if you're up for the walk. Kings Beach and local cafes and restaurants were literally on our door step. There's heaps of footpaths that you can walk, run, jog, or cycle along in both directions. It's a wonderful place to visit, and it's one of favourite places to hang out for a few days of rest and relaxation.

Caloundra is a family friendly safe place to holiday, relax and unwind. The shops are as good (if not better) than the city and the beaches are top notch. And there are plenty of options for great food too.

There is something for everyone in Caloundra - from the...

There is something for everyone in Caloundra - from the upmarket Sunday street markets and the shops all in the main street (Bullock St0 to the Moffat Beach Brewery, the Air Museum, the miles of beaches, tracks to walk and the eateries. Our favorite restaurant was the Chinese Holiday Restaurant (108 Bulcock St) with same owners since 1982. The food was sumptuous and you get a decent plate full - value for money *****.

Lovely unspoilt beaches. Great for families. Has everything for a relaxing holiday if you just want to laze on the beach, walk along the board walk or go to markets. Close access to Montville and Maleny for day trips. It still has that small town feeling.

A very relaxing place to stay.

A very relaxing place to stay. I found it much pleasanter than Noosa which we visited as Caloundra was more chillled and cheaper. There are several beaches to choose from and a great coastal walkway to walk or bike on.

Excellent location and property has great views to local area. Location is close and walkable to shops including supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and local shopping mall. Property is situated right on waterfront and beachfront walks to either Golden Beach or as far as Dicky's Beach via Kings Beach and Shelly's beach. Kitchen is fully equipped and be used for cooking inc dishwasher and full laundry Facilites. WIFI is good and plenty of blankets for when chill hits in evening.

The ocean & town views were amazing from the 12th floor. Walking distance to beach, cafes & restaurants, and retail therapy. Short drives to hinterland & areas north& south of Caloundra. While we waited for Tropical Cyclone Alfred to make landfall, we had a terrific view of the outside world. And we always take Boggle & Bananagrams, crossword puzzles, a deck of cards & reading material on our annual holiday to Caloundra.
