Really felt luxurious, so glad for decent instant coffee, we don't use the pods. It was nice and quiet, and there was an abundance of anything we could want. Definitely wish to stay here again if possible. Take a lesson from here, very lovely.

Deception Bay is underestimated as its a lovely place to stay. Enjoyed walks by the water and was pleasantly surprised to see hundreds of Black Swans. The people we came across were friendly and helpful.

There is not much there.

There is not much there. Alot of homeless people all around the main bay area with pitched tents everywhere. There are only two cafe's, no actual restaurant's we could find on the actual Bay. The Deception Bay Tavern was lovely though with nice food and staff.

unfortunately we did not have extra time to discover the surrounds as our granddaughter's wedding consumed our time and interests. However I did find the time for early morning walks along the well maintained sea front walking and cycling paths. I would like to include our experience with our wedding venue that is located about 7 kl from town. A great setting for an open country style wedding with a well set up reception tent. The catering was well received.
