Friendly staff and the platypus tour was a bonus. Rooms are up a flight or two of stairs, but suitcases can be brought inside via the 2nd floor. The single room and its associated bathroom were spotless! Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. I recommend staying here, and having dinner here, too.

Set in a wonderful location, we were taken back by the quality and size of the place and the outlook. When we came back at night we saw all sorts of wildlife (one of the reasons for coming to Tasmania) and everything we could want was included. The lovely mix of old and new was set just right and we could want for nothing more.

A really great house with lots of space for family! We stayed 5 nights and felt really comfortable here. Deloraine is a great little city with good places for coffee and food and supermarket. Very close to Deloraine is a lot to explore and so many great food experiences!

Mountain View Country Inn offers a restaurant and a bar with a cosy fireplace and lovely views over the Great Western Tiers Mountains. All rooms include a flat-screen TV and a DVD player.
