So relaxing, tucked away with views of the lovely forth river and surrounding rural landscape. Being warmed by the outside fire whilst watching the sunset sky change hues was a wonderful start to the weekend. A very comfy bed, and I loved the choice of an inside bathroom or outside toilet with a view! A beautiful walk down the country lane to the famous forth pub, so convenient!

The whole experience were so easy. The hotel manager (Georgie) were more than happy to accommodate us due to the fact the our departure with the spirit of Tasmania was early. all in all 10/10 stars. Mandy Kofsky.

It was a really nice and sunny room with 2 windows. It was very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful location, less than 5 minutes to the beach. And the staff was so friendly and helpful! If I come to Devonport again I will come back! :)

We used Forth River Cottage as a base to explore activities around the area, but unfortunately that meant we got to spend very little time in Forth itself. It was a very small town which we'd like to explore more next time we visit.
