Perfect combo of feeling isolated in the bush while being 10 mins drive from the beach. Homely feel with a touch of luxury and well kitted out kitchen. We used the BBQ, which had all the tools and was easy to clean up after. Loved all the kangaroos hanging around the property (my partner is British and still gets very excited about them). It was only a short 1nt stay, but we have already booked to stay for a longer period over Xmas with my partners family!

We love Huskinson and I suppose the only thing now it has become so busy, even through the week and I miss the little hamlet it once was. We will still be visitors to Huskinson as there is no prettier beach side place to be and a short drive from Sydney.

The town is cosy and friendly, with nice beaches and harbour...

The town is cosy and friendly, with nice beaches and harbour. There are plenty of cafes, pubs, bars and restaurants and the club is great. We did a lovely walk along the foreshore which has well maintained parks and play areas with access to different parts of the beach. We didn't use it but the public swimming pool looks good. The weather stopped us playing golf and bowls but there are plenty of facilities a short drive away. And Nowra is close enough if you need anything that Huskisson or Vincentia (Coles etc) can't provide.

Beautiful location.short distance from highway. Lots of dining options .lots of whale or dolphin cruises or water activities. Both the Huskisson pub and services club have amazing dining with views of the bay.

Lovely place.

Lovely place. Views were amazing of the water and surrounding headlands. Nice shopping. We ate at the Huskisson pub as it is very dog friendly also a nice cafe on the corner. No issues parking but we walked from the accommodation a lot. Nice bakery and very nice walk through the town. I would avoid Fishermans wharf cafe. long wait for food and we had to ask for our money back as the wait was over 1 hr . Overall, a very pleasant town, great pub and a nearby leash free beach.

Huskisson has changed into one of those yuppie little...

Huskisson has changed into one of those yuppie little seaside town.It has changed in a good way, the main footpaths allow for stores and pedestrians to interact, at night the tree lights look pretty and there is plenty of stores open with a range of options. We went to the RSL and the husky pub for meals and was not disappointed, the views, the atmosphere and the food were good. We even went to the cinema which was a treat. It was well worth the visit.

We had a comfortable stay in a very central and handy location. The hotel is a short stroll to local beaches, the wharf for joining whale watching cruises, and a stones throw from dining options (as well as the restaurant downstairs). The staff were super friendly. Bed was incredibly comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was god-tier. I expected it to be nosier during the evening with the pub downstairs but it was surprisingly quiet/noise proofed.

Key pick up is offsite at Jervis Bay hotel around the corner. Location was excellent, one block back from the main street, close to the action but still quiet. Reasonably price apartment was clean and neat. Bedrooms on the smallish side but functional. Bed used was reasonably comfortable. Air con worked and rain fall shower gave nice hot shower. Unit 7 and 8 seem to be the pick of the crop with water views from the balcony.

The apartment and location were fantastic, being close to the shops, restaurants and Marina. Also close to all the well-known beaches such as Hyams etc. This is the second stay in Huskisson and i recommend that you do the twilight river cruise as well as the Jervis Bay cruise. Also recommend a meal at the Hotel, which has fantastic food. You will need to book ahead if you're going during peak periods.
