Quamby Lake house is an outstanding accommodation. A large luxurious house in beautiful natural surroundings. It was easy to find, well equipped, lovely & warm & so stylishly furnished. Lois is an amazing host who supplied a breakfast hamper & a bottle of wine. She was so warm & welcoming & lovely to chat with.

Friendly staff and the platypus tour was a bonus. Rooms are up a flight or two of stairs, but suitcases can be brought inside via the 2nd floor. The single room and its associated bathroom were spotless! Continental breakfast was more than sufficient. I recommend staying here, and having dinner here, too.
