After a long day of travelling, we just needed somewhere to rest our heads for a while. The Great Northern Hotel waited for us and stayed open a few minutes passed their closing time so that we could check in. So grateful!

Welcoming staff were lovely and made it very easy to check in. Our room was nice and had a lovely river view out the back to sit by. There was a supermarket, bottle shop and petrol station very close by aswell which was very convenient.

The host was extremely thoughtful - it almost felt like a traditional BNB. We had fresh bread made for us, the fridge stocked with condiments, juice, water etc. The accommodation was clean and had everything we needed.
