The accommodation is situated within the hosts’ own home and purpose-built as a self-contained unit (bedroom, bathroom and living room) adjacent to their own living. The unit is extremely comfortable and beautifully clean and with a very comfortable bed. The kitchenette was filled with delicious treats; the breakfast included home-made jams and the best stewed fruits we’ve ever tasted! The bathroom was equipped with extremely generous toiletries. Our hosts have two wonderful cats - Chiffon and Taffeta - who were full of personality and were the icing on the cake. The home has a rural setting but is two minutes drive from Trentham town. The unit is comprehensively equipped for guests. Our hosts Mike and Sylvia, have a long hospitality background and had thought of everything - we lacked for nothing. Mike and Sylvia are two of the most friendly and engaging people we have met - and we have travelled a lot.

This was a beautiful home with stunning floor to ceiling windows and lovely comfortable furnishings, including some amazing vintage pieces! Everything you could possibly want was provided, including some welcome “little extras” like snacks, golf clubs at the front door, a fire pit & children’s sports equipment in the rear garden.

The room was very spacious and had everything I needed: a comfortable couch area, a great kitchen, a warm gas log fire, and a modern and clean bathroom. Close to Daylesford and all the areas you'd want to visit, while also being quiet at night. Easy parking and great communication when booking and checking in.

Loved the aesthetics of the whole hotel,from the rooms to the leather lounges in the bar and breakfast in the garden. The gardens were magnificent, the atmosphere was graceful, and the staff were all amazing, attentive, and cheerful.

Lots of room- a modern stately manor with beautifully kept...

Lots of room- a modern stately manor with beautifully kept gardens including vege-gardens. All mod cons and beautiful views. the only obstacle was having one major room with ensuite, the other guests had to share one bathroom and one toilet which was difficult at times. We ate at Frankie and Connies in Hepburn Springs- good food, but we were first sitting and quite rushed to get out. Lyonville is small - blink and you will miss it!
