I am a small eater. So I told the lady to remove items like bacon etc from the breakfast. But she felt I will go hungry and so put so much of potatoes and eggs. It's really difficult to see such love for the guests. I am really happy about it

FAQs about hotels in Perth

Serene as the Swan

Sun-drenched and laidback, Perth is simply a joy to be in. However, the West Australian capital does have tourist attractions, such as the Colonial-era mint, important in the country’s gold industry. East is the WACA, a must-see for cricket fans, and the city is also mad for Aussie Rules football.

The city centre has the historic Government House and Supreme Court, both dwarfed by the ultra-modern skyscrapers a few streets behind. The best skyline view is from leafy King’s Park, near the War Memorial overlooking the Swan River below, named after its black swans. Across the river in Perth Zoo are more native animals including koalas, crocodiles and free-hopping kangaroos.

Boats to the zoo leave from the Barrack Street jetty by a sail-shaped bell tower. Other day trips from Perth include Rottnest Island and Fremantle, down the river in the opposite direction from Perth Airport.

The apartments, B&Bs and hotels in Perth are spread all over this fantastic city, interspersed with restaurants serving specialities such as western rock lobster and chilli mussels. There is also a wealth of bars, many playing the indie music that the city is known for. Local brews from the Swan Brewery and wines from the Swan Valley vineyards round off the evening.

I like Perth and have been here before.

I like Perth and have been here before. This time I visited the Fremantle Markets, Optus Stadium (wow), Kings Park, and the Perth Mint. I ate dinner at a nearby pub most nights, but went to a great restaurant about 20 minutes drive from my motel in a semi rural area. I had a rental car and found it easy to drive around Perth (with Google maps help). I would have liked more time in Perth as there are so many things to do.

We had a three week holiday in Perth and surrounding areas. We planned our journey to do and see as much as possible. To get the most out of all the touristy must sees, you need to be able to walk reasonably long distances and climb up and down stairs often. If your knees are dodgy I would think twice. We loved everything. The roads, public transport and infrastructure are clean and like new. The city is easy to navigate and there are endless things to see and visit. I would recommend September for the weather and wildflowers plus all the wildlife have their babies on show. If you have never been, put Perth on your bucket list. Google Perth attractions and go, and don't forget to try the seafood.

    Lovely looking City .

Lovely looking City . Make sure you get the ferry to Rottnest Island -see the Quokkas , hire a bike and take it all in - it is beautiful. We also did the Fremantle prison tour which was really interesting. I’d challenge you to find a better Chinese restaurant than Fortune Five just a short walk away and also go to Karla in Stories for a special treat .

Perth is a beautiful city, we spent a lot of time at Kings Park and walked around the CBD, as it was a Sunday we were hard pressed to find a coffee shop open, we also walked around Elizabeth Quay where alcohol was abundant but was just a tad early for us. The hop on hop off double decker bus is a good way to see the sights. Also river cruises to Fremantle or inland to the wineries.

I had never been to Perth before but went with my sister in September to see the wildflowers. We went on a wildflower tour and were blown away by the variety of flora there was to be seen - definitely the highlight for us but the rest of Perth was pretty good too! Public transport was either free or cheap and easy to work out and the bus and train staff were very pleasant and helpful. The weather was delightful, while back in Melbourne they had heaters on. In our time in Perth (besides our wildflower tour) we went to the zoo, Fremantle (on a Sunday), Kings Park, Rottnest Island, Canningvale wetlands (nice, busy cafe there), did self guided walking tours of the city to look at the incredible architecture (brochures from the Info Centre), inspected the bell tower (from below) and listened to it chiming, went to the Mint (only go if you’re prepared to go on the $22 one hour tour which we didn’t do), went to the old court house, went to the WA Archives photo display and went to the art gallery. (Sorry Perth but I found your art gallery underwhelming). Overall we had a great time in Perth.

The location was good; a quieter part of the city at night so felt safer and was more peaceful. The roof top bar & restaurant was cool too; good service, good food & comfy furniture. The hotel had parking with direct hotel access by lifts. A bonus as not many hotels in Perth have hotel access parking. The 11.00am check out was great too.
