This location is owned and operated by lovely people. A breakfast picnic basket arrives every morning at 8. Kangaroos frolic about. It is a wonderful place to recharge and restore. Tranquil and quiet. Beautiful landscaping nestled in a vineyard.

As like for other wine regions we tried to find a hotel with a winery in walking distance. This one is about 500m from Bimbadgen Estate, which features a high quality restaurant, a cellar door and a pizzeria, and we made use of all of that. We had a friendly welcome at H Boutique Hotel (also by some roos, which enjoyed the rain), and got a big room, in fact it's an apartment with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room and a terrace. There's of course ample parking. Next to the reception there's an interesting shop / bar / cellar door... don't know what to call it, but we enjoyed a nice cheese and wine tasting there, and the next day a breakfast too (it's not open every day though, but we were lucky). It was perfect for the rainy day we had on arrival. Apart from the winery you can walk to, you're very close by car to every other Hunter Valley attraction and winery.

My wife and myself booked 2 nights accommodation at the Mercure as it was very centralised to Bimbadgen Estate for the Take That concert we were attending. The rooms were the highest quality and staff were extremely friendly and helpful. During our stay we also did some wine tasting at DeBortoli's Hunter Valley, we went to the Hunter Valley Chocolate and Fudge factory, had dinner at Harrigans Pub and attended the Hunter Valley Gardens Christmas lights. The furthest we travelled from our location was only a 10 minute drive. It has beautiful manicured lawns and gardens and is the perfect location for a weekend getaway, corporate stay or to host an event

So many options to enjoy food and wine.

So many options to enjoy food and wine. The Smokehouse at Lovedale! Divine Cheeses and Chocolate and Coffee. By far the people who made our whole trip enjoyable. An atmosphere of calm and nothing was a bother.

The location is quite remote and requires someone to drive...

The location is quite remote and requires someone to drive at all times. The Villa we had was two bedroom/two bathroom which looked out to the golf course. It was very quiet and peaceful and was agreat place to relax. The villa was incredibly well equipped and there was nothing you could really ask for that was not there. The gas bbq was god send on our first night and we enjoyed a wonderfull steaks. All in all it was very short but great place to stay.

We visited the Hunter Valley Gardens again on this trip. Very disappointing to fond more than 50% of the shops have closed up We went to Dinner @ the Blaxlands Steak House This place was amazing, and the food was sensational, Highly Recommend this place

The Xmas lights in the garden were amazing, so much fun. The whole area is very beautiful and would have liked more time to explore. Drove to The Caledonia Hotel (Singleton) during the day for a great lunch.

Great area for wine lovers.

Great area for wine lovers. There are numerous vineyards & even some breweries to keep you occupied long past a weekend. Lots of hotel options, tiny homes, air b n b etc to suit many budgets. So much open space and its lush greenery is beautiful. Easy enough to get around if you have a car or many wine tours available. We went hot air ballooning with Balloon Aloft & they were very very good highly recommend. Singleton Indian restaurant is also phenomenal if you like Indian food. Relaxing and quiet

Great location, full house facilities and a nice stay. The only downfall was that the store was out of order and was not advised prior to arrival which we needed for our grand children’s towels and clothes . Had we known we would have brought along extra items. The pool area great and accommodating.

This resort is in the most ideal location for exploring the Hunter Valley. It is right in the centre of all of the wineries and close to two groups of shops and the Elysium day spa. We chose to visit the driving range and the staff were most helpful, including supplying some clubs at no extra charge. The buffet breakfast is typical of hotels, and was very well run except on one day.

As small business owners, we don't get away often. When we do we like to be in a central location. Leisure in was perfect, it's small self contained cottages were sweet and comfortable. Easy access to nearby restaurants and Hunter Valley Gardens. We did a winery tour and the bus picked us up at reception.

We have used this hotel multiple times to visit the Hunter Valley Lights and would recommend it. Easy, with pleasant dining on site. Grandkids love the pool.
