Great area, close to city, convenient for most attractions and easy to get to the country areas around the city. We came mainly for a concert offered at Wrest Point Casino and a River Cruise. Historic area, quiet although on a main Rd. Excellent walking, paths & beaches Food & beverage close by- the restaurants & pubs seemed like expensive but we do not eat out a lot. The Wursthouse was a great place to pick up lovely home cooked food and cook at accommodation. People were friendly & helpful.
