Excellent glamping experience. We stayed in the Couples Bell Tents and booked 4 for a group of friends travelling together. The beds were comfortable, the tent was spotless as were all the other facilities. The staff were super friendly and all in all it was the best night of our week long trip to Tasmania. We arrived for late check in after the reception closed and the reception staff member came back up to the campsite to open the reception for us so we could buy the firewood pack and recommended the nearby shops and where to go for breakfast . It was very thoughtful and showed the staff go above and beyond to make your stay memorable.

The place was so quiet and hidden away from traffic. Surrounded by nature and had the chance to see so many animals. The facilities were more than enough and the bed was super comfy. Plenty of space for our little one to play. Feeding the farm animals in the morning was a super bonus!

Absolutely great B&B. Service is at seven stars, with Stuart going a few extra miles and Judy really being super helpful and caring. Place is very well tun, clean, all the amenities necessary are there. Breakfast is mostly locally produced, with lemon butter, bread and jams doing the trick! Highly recommended!

Scamander is pretty much the most interesting location on the central east coast because of its situation on the river and the ocean, and not far to drive to other places. A well-stocked supermarket, pub, fuel, and several places for food and good coffee.

Love the hotel but the older lady at reception is rude and very unwelcoming.....she said she had no rooms but I could clearly see on line that there was room 7 rooms in all 5 full queen rooms...I find it disappointing that the staff lady did not want guests is just staying as she also turned others away not good..and for her to have a go at me after I went online and booked a rooom I find it very unprofessional..cheer linda..

Had a fabulous weekend away in Scamander. We had loads of fun with the free kayaks. the bbq’s and outdoor space were fantastic. We really enjoyed the apartment as it was clean and comfortable. it had everything we needed and felt like a home away from home. Right on the waters edge with loads of space to run around, it was great. I highly recommend.

Matt went out of his way to make us feel welcome and comfortable. Forget staying in St Helens - Scamander was AMAZING. it was cold & wet when we arrived, but the tents were warm, dry and comfortable. Would absolutely recommend and have done so.
