It was comfortable and felt like home. Everything I needed was there. I stayed for only one night, but I wished I could stay longer. It’s a bit of a walk from the city center, but the area is safe and has a nice view, so it’s not a problem. The beach is nearby, and it’s a great place for those who want a quiet and relaxing stay.

Perfect house to host Christmas! 4 bedrooms upstairs with two bathrooms. Another toilet down stairs. 3 living areas to accomodate everyone’s needs. Our visit to Torquay was enjoyable, thanks to the combination of good dining options, hospitable people, and the abundance of activities available in this pleasant beachside destination. The restaurants in the area fulfilled our expectations, providing satisfying meals and service. Additionally, the locals were friendly and contributed to a welcoming atmosphere throughout our stay. There is a wide range of activities on offer, giving visitors plenty to choose from during their time here. A friendly town with excellent restaurants and shops. The beach is so long you can always find an ideal spot. As UK visitors we appreciated the general feeling of space and the abundance of free parking. The town has a clean, fresh, new feel to it.

Over the past 50 years we have been travelling to Torquay. It has changed so much, but it is a great town to visit and stay in. Travelling around Torquay is is easy. Plenty of choices for meals and general shopping.

Amazing beaches and walking pathways. Great photo shoot location watching the surfers enjoying life. Eateries top class. Special shout out to Doc Hughes cade and the super friendly staff. Mouth watering breakfast!!

Torquay was much larger than I thought.

Torquay was much larger than I thought. I'm not sure I would like it in Summer as I think it would be very crowded, but great if you like the beaches. Plenty of places to visit and explore the surrounding areas and wineries, especially Jack Rabbit, Scotchman's Hill and Belllbrae. We also took a short trip to Aireys Inlet and lunched on the Q Train from Drysdale which was excellent!

In mid-September it was relatively quiet and relaxed.

In mid-September it was relatively quiet and relaxed. We had no problems finding our way around. Since we're seniors we didn't need planned activities, we just walked around Torquay and drove to both Angelsea and Portarlington for day trips and had lunch and explored.

We had a fantastic stay here at Bliss. Our host was extremely friendly and accommodating. The property is very well appointed, with everything we could ask for and walking distance to so much that Torquay has to offer. Very much feels like a family holiday home and not just a short term rental investment. Thank you for a wonderful Christmas break!

I stayed at the Torquay Hotel as I was seeing the bands playing there that night, so the main aspect I liked was not having to navigate a way home late at night in the dark, but I genuinely was a nice property and the staff were very friendly
