- nice host, speaks English very well and was able to provide us additional guidance and instructions regarding the area. - big apartment (larger than expected based on the pictures). - had everything that we needed for a short stay and it could be a good option for longer as well. - apartment was clean and confortable. - very closely located to the center of Bihac and to its beautiful park (15 min walk). - for people like us coming from an ex-communist country (Romania) the neighbourhood didn't felt in anyway dangerous or weird. It is very safe and quiet and the people living there seem nice. If you are coming from a western country, don't worry about the way it might look like. The apartment and the host are great. - we had free parking at the location on the street.

The city itself has a few interesting sights like the Captain's Tower, river, and mosque, but that's about it... The city itself is not very special, but the region has some very nice sights like Una N.P. , castles, etc.

The city nice and clean. The natures , the rivers and waterfalls are amazing and the best among other countries. Just small suggestion: if they do some facilities to easy the old people to enjoy and reach the activities

Beautiful scenery along the riverside in the town.

Beautiful scenery along the riverside in the town. National Park Una is nearby but you can only explore more if driving. Otherwise, only limited spot can be reached by public transport like us only visited Štrbački buk, the big waterfall by taking bus and walk 2 hours 8km to the waterfall and return the same in total 4 hours 16km. We could not found any local tour in Bihac for National Park Una and have to give up another major spot, Martin Brod which is 12km away from the final bus station at Kulen Vakuf.

To be honest we only came to Bihac, because it was...

To be honest we only came to Bihac, because it was comparably cheap to sleep there, for visiting the Plitvice lakes in Croatia. One main drawback of staying in Bihac and visiting Plitvice is the Bosnian / Croatian border crossing. Expect lots of waiting time, something we overlooked on our part. On average we would wait for 20 to 30 minutes per crossing, which can result in a lot of stress if you booked a specific time slot for visiting the lakes. Bihac still has many visible memories from the war, which makes for a grim decor, giving sometimes an eerie vibe to the whole. I failed to feel completely safe during my stay, and I am not sure because of my prejudice, or just my unfamiliarity with Bosnia as a whole. I fail to really read the people. Some of them were super friendly, others really gave me a vibe like I shouldn't be there, and I really did not like the many men in the street openly eyeballing my fiancé. It gave me a very conservative vibe, which does not inspire me to go there again

This is a good place to start visiting the national parks...

This is a good place to start visiting the national parks close by, but Bihac as such does not really have much to offer. I suspect that might have something to do with the Yugoslav war, where Bihac experienced a lot of action. Once you get out of the center, you start to see some of the damage.

Very nice people full of love and time to talk

Very nice people full of love and time to talk Tasty natural and homemade food Beautiful river and nature Plenty things to do (nature, river, rafting, hiking, fishing, swimming...) Good beer, ćevapi and lamb I can write about Bihać all day. You need to come and expirience this beauty !

State of the art apartment in newly built apartment complex on Bihać. I really wish I had more time to spend here as it was a wonderful stay. The host Anela waited for me in the car park and showed me around the lovely apartment. The heating worked well. The beds were comfortable. The washing machine was clean along with everything else spotlessly clean - whoever cleans this apartment knows how to clean. Lovely touches as often found with female owners including female amenities and scented diffuser. Would happily recommend.

Extremely friendly and helpful stuff including local people that jumped in to help us! ❤️ We had an battery issue with our motorcycle on Thursday evening and it was sorted out within an hour. They made a few calls to check where we can buy new battery next morning and arranged jumpstart. Besides that, dinner at the hotel restaurant was great. Breakfast is just fine. Room clean and cozy. Hotel is actually a facility combined with gas station, carwash, shop and a restaurant. Great combination.
