The Hotel Boutique Anoma was exceptional in every category. I travel widely and am fussy about where I stay. After some days in Mostar, I needed a decent hotel near the Sarajevo Airport ... at a good price. I chose the Anoma because it had such good reviews and was surprisingly affordable. Sometimes that combo is a ruse--but this time is was not. The Anoma is a real find! Well-appointed, spacious, congenial, well-run, I was delighted. My room was outstanding. Modern and yet comfy. Fresh air ...windows that open but are still safe. Great room. Quiet, quiet, quiet. Clean as a whistle. Great TV with free Netflix, Prime, YouTube (all in English, with local subtitles). Breakfast was outstanding--cukes, tomatoes, cheeses, eggs, bread, full coffee, watermelon, local fruit. Eat on the terrace or inside. Lovely, friendly, helpful staff. Perfect English. Several excellent restaurants nearby, plus cafes and a pizzeria. ATM in walking distance (you need cash in Bosnia .... No taxis and few stores accept credit cards.) I feel really lucky. And barely ten minutes to the airport (20 Marks/$10 USD). This Hotel is a joy! And a terrific value.
