The restaurant is exceptional, with many kind of food, very attractive decorated and with professional and friendly staff, same for the girl from reception. Located close to shops and river in an attractive town. Apartment was very well appointed and had everything we needed and more, including water, juice and tea, coffee. The host, Stephanie was very welcoming and was at hand to help whenever needed. The offers to deliver breakfast for us was not needed as the bakery was so close (tokens provided by the host), but was a great touch. She also advised and supported us with accessing parking tickets when we were away for the day, leaving the car behind. There is a fully comprehensive booklet explaining how all the appliances work, where to park, etc. All has been considered to make your stay easy.

Although the bungalow we stayed in was super cute and clean...

Although the bungalow we stayed in was super cute and clean I paid extra for a lake view. In our first bungalow that view was incredibly obstructed by overgrown weeds/shrubbery. This was a minor letdown but the actual issue was not having hot water. I called the front desk to let them know and was told that sometimes this just happens and that there was nothing that could be done. I asked to be moved to a different bungalow but was told that wasn’t possible because they had no way of knowing which accommodations had hot water on any given day. We were given the option to use the showers in the pool area. These showers were wide open with about 10 shower heads in one room. This was not an acceptable option for what we paid. The resort did not agree to change our room until after I called Booking.com to file a complaint. We also paid for the “fishing experience”. This experience was a small pond down the road from the resort that was owned by two gentlemen who did not work for the resort. There were no toilets or running water. We were given a dirty rag, a can of corn and 2 cane style poles to fish with and left at the pond. The fenced in area where the pond was was over grown with weeds and stinging nettle and near the entrance there was a LARGE garbage/scarp pile. We tried to make the best of it and did catch a few fish but 2 of the fish looked pretty sick and one didn’t have scales. You were required to pay for every activity which would have been fine except their internet was not working and many buildings didn’t have power so we could only pay with cash. This “resort” has a lot of potential but as of now it is not a place I would recommend to anyone I know.
