Amazing boutique hotel, probably the nicest I have stayed in in a long time, especially given the price! Perfect location, DELICIOUS breakfast, the hotel smells and looks amazing, and the personalized note in the room was just a cherry on the top. Couldn't recommend more.

Beautiful new design hotel. An excellent night's sleep in a properly dark and soundproofed room. One of the few hotels I've stayed in that didn't see the need to fill the room with flashing LED lights at night - I didn't need my black tape! Fabulous views over the city from ceiling to floor windows. Lovely bathroom, great shower. Comfy bed. 5 minute walk from Rogier metro, 8 minutes from Gare du Nord station. Handy coffee bar in the lobby if you don't want a big breakfast. Good and reasonably priced mexican restaurant on the top floor.

We recently spent a couple nights in Brussels and very much enjoyed our stay at Pillows City Hotel. This is modern, well furnished and comfortable property along Parochiaanstraat, just a few minutes walk from Brussels Central Station. Reservation was made through booking.com where we found the lowest rates on the day. Booking confirmation received by email instantly. We were able to check in a couple hours early upon arrival which was very nice. Front desk were very helpful, assisted with arranging early morning taxi to the airport at the end of our trip and were just generally pleasant when we interacted with them. Property location is very good if you want to be close to Central Station and within walking distance to the main sightseeing areas around historic centre of Brussels. Quite a few restaurants and bars not far away. They have a restaurant at the hotel as well as a reading room as well. Our room was spacious, very nicely furnished. There was plenty of closet and drawer space, sizeable work area, in-room safe, fridge, espresso machine, nice bathroom, great shower water pressure, flat screen TV, good heating, lighting, wifi and importantly a very comfortable bed, allowing much needed rest. Overall, we liked the hotel location and staff and were very happy with our room at Pillows City Hotel. This was a great stay and place we'd be glad to return to during futures trips to Brussels.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a delightful, family-run hotel that exceeded my expectations in every way. The moment I stepped inside, I was charmed by the cozy, welcoming atmosphere that exuded a distinct Victorian vibe. The hotel, managed by a talented mother-and-son duo, is a testament to the mother's impeccable taste in decor. Every room is thoughtfully designed to capture the essence of a themed, historic home, complete with intricate details that transport you back in time. The comfort provided here is unmatched, especially considering the very reasonable price. The staff deserves special mention for their warm hospitality and exceptional service that goes beyond what one might expect. They truly make you feel like an honored guest in their home. One of the most enchanting aspects was the collection of coffee table books scattered throughout the hotel—beautifully curated selections on architecture, art, and travel that made me want to stay in rather than explore Brussels. Lounging by the fireplace, sipping their rich coffee, and flipping through these hand-picked books felt like living as a Victorian-era duchess, adding an unforgettable layer to the experience. If you’re seeking a stay that feels personal, warm, and steeped in history, I couldn’t recommend this gem enough.

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. My spouse and I had a wonderful weekend here. The hotel is very close to all the key attractions in Brussels, so you can walk around and see a lot. The hotel itself is on a quiet street, and there are nice cafes nearby where you can have a snack or breakfast if you don't want to eat at the hotel. The hotel has a beautiful garden in the courtyard. The room was excellent, and we especially liked the bathtub (it was very comfortable). The hotel staff are very polite and attentive. We had a great time at this hotel.

The room was very beautiful & exceeded all my expectations: stylish, cozy, and thoughtfully designed. I was traveling alone, so the transparent bathtub wasn’t an issue at all. But even if you’re staying as a couple, there’s no need to worry - the glass isn’t fully clear: it’s frosted halfway up at eye level, so it still feels private. One of the best breakfasts in Brussels for a 4-star hotel stay - balancing taste, comfort, and service quality in the ZEYYA restaurant. It took me 20 minutes on foot to reach the city center, a pleasant walk through cozy streets.

FAQs about hotels in Brussels

Chocolate Capital of Europe

Brussels is well-known as the headquarters of many European institutions and is often called the capital of Europe. However, Belgian waffles, beer and chocolate are just a few of the city’s best-known delicacies that can rival its political reputation.

French and Dutch are city’s two official languages so all streets and landmarks have two different names: don’t be surprised when you look for Grand Place and end up on Grote Markt!

Don’t miss the famous bronze statue aptly named Manneken Pis or the futuristic Atomium, a truly unique architectural creation. Wandering through side streets to discover small bookshops, romantic cafés and ethnic restaurants reveals Brussel's charm.

Brussels is a real melting pot of Europe, filled with great museums and art from Memling, Bosch or Rubens, historic breweries and great concert halls. Shopping addicts can visit the world’s first shopping mall, the Saint Hubert Gallery, opened here in 1847.

If you’re arriving at Brussels Airport or South Charleroi Airport, all major attractions are just a short train or bus ride away. Whether you’re looking for a design hotel, a comfortable apartment or a friendly B&B, Booking.com has something perfect for your Brussels trip.

Brussels is a city best explored on foot, where cobblestone lanes link centuries of history with modern Belgian creativity. The heart of the city, the Grand Place, dazzles with its UNESCO-listed 17th-century guildhalls and vibrant energy both day and night. A few minutes away, neighborhoods like Marolles and Sablon invite wandering through antique shops, flea markets, and art galleries framed by Gothic and Art Nouveau façades.Beer lovers find plenty to celebrate: from iconic spots like Delirium Café, home to thousands of brews, to smaller local projects which experiment with lambic and gueuze styles . Whether you’re sipping in a trendy bar or strolling past comic murals along quiet side streets, Brussels offers an experience that’s as eclectic as it is effortlessly charming.

It will help to book every entrance in advance(cost-efficiency it is much better). If you would be tempted to buy Brussels city card it will help if you have a plan made before you activate the card, to benefit much more from the card. If you want to visit just 2 or 3 places i don't recommend to buy it. City has a lot of free places as well to visit,

Brussels is a beautiful city — clean and well-organized. Getting around Brussels was super easy and convenient. Fries and delicious waffles were everywhere—I couldn’t get enough of them! :)) The beers I tried were all great, though a bit pricier than in other countries I’ve been to. Still, definitely worth it. And the chocolate? Simply the best in the world. I also visited Bruges—such a stunning city, absolutely loved it! I would definitely love to visit again! <3

Brussels is a contrast from the rest of the Europe.

Brussels is a contrast from the rest of the Europe. While it does have the architecture that other European cities have, it has the unclean roads, over smoking and dirty streets to boast about which other European cities do not have. This is worsened by their anti-tourost policy by not including signage in English or announcements in English. That worsens the experience. People are not that welcoming and treat you like a question as to why are we there in their city.

Brussels is a busy, capital city so it does get crowded and the traffic is as you would expect but it's a great place to visit. The bars are brilliant (we really like the Poenchenkeller and the Mort Subite) and there are very good places to eat (Wolf has lots of choice for everyone). It's also easy to tour round Belgium from Brussels. We visited Leuven, Mons, Blankenberg and Bruges.

Beautiful town, at least at the center, with small city vibes, a beautiful urban decor, cobblestone streets, the most beautiful city square in the world (and I have visited, or lived, in many cities with or without central squares), including the Brussels Town Hall, and then some: the Manneken Pis (only in Belgium do you have a pissing boy turned into a bronze pissing statuette) and his sister, Jeanneke Pis (a more recent DEI addition). Lots of tourists in the street, but I love to find people from the US, Thailand, China, or Suburban Africa (I think I heard Ghanaians, and francophone Africans).

My stay at MEININGER Hotels Bruxelles City Center was one of the best experiences in my life! The staff was very helpful, the reception works 24/7. The rooms are of a good standard. This hotel provides practically everything a tourist needs to have a good time exploring beautiful Brussels. The cherry on the top was organized by the hotel staff; group night out to a few clubs/pubs. Thanks to that I met a lot of great people from all parts of the world and I had a unique experience. We enjoyed our stay at The Hoxton, Brussels. The hotel itself is stylish, comfortable, and well-maintained, with a welcoming atmosphere. Staff members were consistently friendly, professional, and attentive, which made a great impression. The on-site restaurant offered tasty dishes, and the breakfast was fresh and enjoyable each morning — though it was the same selection every day. The view from our room was lovely, and the location made it easy to reach both the city center and the main train station on foot.

Location is perfect for me because it's a 30seconds walk to work. For people that travel for leisure, there are 2 metro stations very close by and it's also quite close to 2 train stations. It's feasible to walk to the city center too but the metro should do the trick for the less active ones. The staff and the hotel are very nice, it has all you need and even some food/snacks in the lobby. I'll definitely stay there again whenever I have to come back to Brussels.

Everything was as described. Nearby are the Gare du Nord, the city center, and the Atomium. We hardly used public transportation. We spent all our free time walking. The weather was pleasant, autumnal. I paid for an early check-in of 11:00 AM and a late check-out of 7:00 PM, and I was very pleased with this service.
