This property is an oasis just a stone throw away from downtown San Ignacio. I was so taken with all the trees and plants and I love that they have benches to simply sit and enjoy nature. The shower was phenomenal, the bed was comfortable, and the A/C was superb. I liked that there’s was a little coffee maker complete with filter paper, ground coffee and powdered creamer and I made good use of it in the early morning when I needed to work remotely. Speaking of—the WiFi was excellent and I had no issues with any of the conference calls I had during my stay. Lastly, I’m very impressed with the attentiveness of the staff. There was always someone around to ask for help or get a recommendation, without them being helicopter-y. If you need a nature retreat within easy reach of downtown (if you’re into walking) I wholeheartedly recommend this place! It’s especially perfect if you’re backpacking but want a nice, calm place to stay. The bus drops you off at the bottom of the hill and it’s a 5 minute walk.

Brand spanking new property. Big balcony, table, chairs and a hammock . Outside wall mounted fan was a bonus. There’s a bar and an excellent coffee shop downstairs. Attentive staff and welcome drinks. Super cool aircon, comfy beds and quality pillows and linens. Quiet, comfortable and private parking . 3 minute walk to all the bars and restaurants.

I was having terrible issues with my bank and ran out of funds on my SIM card, luckily the a super sweet lady let me borrow her phone for 30min so I was able to sort my bank out. Cesar the greatest gentleman in the world made sure me and my friend got up at 5:30am so we would not miss our taxi because we had slept in. 10/10 would love to come back. Staff was absolutely attentive and always willing to help. Rooms were clean and the location was nice and quiet, while still walking distance to cool sights, town (during the day), etc. Pool and restaurant area were welcoming and fun. The amenities/dispensers (handsoap, bodywash, shampoo, conditioners) were also nice. Hot water is adjustable and ample, and even with an on/off switch. :) Good ventilation and A/C options.
