We were in an off-season, so a lot of places were closed.

We were in an off-season, so a lot of places were closed. We mainly wanted to see the famous beach and it was great! It was clear that Cavendish is really a summer tourist's town. We also enjoyed a very nice view of a bay, walking along a long wooden sidewalk, nearby at North-Rustico. It is very easy to see all the main attractions all on Cavendish Drive. People were friendly and many were saying hello!

Very busy tourist destination. Went to Cavendish Boardwalk, Avonlea Boardwalk, as well as Mariner's Cove Boardwalk, where the boys did mining for gems also ordered pizza from Grego, Sandspit, Marco Polo Land and of course ice cream. My husband and I had lunch at this new Receiver Coffee Co. and it was delicious.

Cavendish was a great place to visit with many shops for all your needs. The people were friendly and staff were so friendly and welcoming. The landscape is very beautiful with lots of tourist sites to explore. I will be visiting this lovely place again in the future !!

Terrible experience at Just Johnny's restaurant. Wait was long, order was incorrect, we ended up without something we ordered because it would take too long to make another, but still paid $85 for a meal we didn't get.

Just a shade of its former self.

Just a shade of its former self. Still some good attractions for smaller kids (under 12) Many of the more gimmicky attractions have disappeared which is fine by me. Amazing beaches and decent golf options but still a tourist trap at heart. Kind of a food and drink desert however. If it isnt deep fried and unhealthy they probably don't have it. Usually I make the short trip to North Rustico to eat. Cavendish could really improve in thr food and drink sector.

Hosts were friendly and responsive. The house, being older was surprisingly well maintained and lovingly cared for. The hosts were genuinely concerned about our comfort and responded to every need promptly. For those not wanting a sterile hotel room and a place that feels more like home, this place is worth considering. There's a playground for younger children and lots of space to take a walk. It's only ~3 Kms from the Cavendish amenities which is where we spent most of our time.

Very convenient location close to key spots (Cavendish Train and National Park and Green Gables heritage place, right beside) and right on the main road in the area. Each cabin has its own BBQ area, which we used and was very convenient. The room was a good size for two people. If you can go to the Oceanview lookout do not miss the opportunity for a potential amazing sunset as we did.

The cottages are in a perfect location, just minutes away from the beach and other attractions in Cavendish. We also loved the large field in the middle of all the cottages, the pool and fire pits. The cottages were clean and having air conditioning was a great bonus!
