UkraineDuring our trip to Dauphin, we decided to stay at the Sir Edgar House B&B. A beautiful wooden house (which was built in 1898, but even after many years remains in excellent condition), antique furniture, paintings and interior items, cleanliness and order, thanks to the efforts of friendly and hospitable owners, create an atmosphere of aristocratic grandeur, home comfort and peace of mind.
The house is located in a quiet, convenient place, in the center of Dauphin, nearby there are many different shops, institutions and attractions. Also, it is not far from the city to drive to the Riding Mountain National Park, which was the main purpose of our trip.
The time spent in the room, walks around the city, an excursion to the national park left in our memory pleasant, unforgettable impressions of the trip.
Despite our not-so-perfect knowledge of English, we had a very meaningful and pleasant conversation with Mr. Cordell over breakfast.
Thank you Mr. Cordell and Mrs. Loralyn Lind for your hospitality, excellent service and delicious food!
Highly recommended!

Left her in.the ro while getting a few things done came back and she was comfortable. And sleepy which told me she even liked her little holiday so than you so much for making our stay comfortable

Dauphin is a fairly compact town and it is easy to get...
Dauphin is a fairly compact town and it is easy to get anywhere from anywhere else in town in less than ten minutes. There are a few attractions in town such as Fort Dauphin Museum, the Railway Museum. The restaurant scene has a few chains (McDonald’s, Tim Hortons, Mr Mike’s) as well as locally owned places like Adelina’s Pizza, Corinna’s) plus a craft beer tap room (Obsolete Brewery). There is one movie theatre that is community owned and is very modern.
The downside? Most businesses, including most non chain restaurants are closed on Mondays.

There was nothing special about the room but it was clean...
There was nothing special about the room but it was clean which is very important, it was not fancy but we enjoyed the stay. This is not the first time we stayed there. The most important thing for me was that it is pet friendly.

Newer hotel in the area.
Newer hotel in the area. At check in we were offered free hot potato soup and fresh popped popcorn to take to our room!! Nice view of a mountain in the horizon from our room. Best unexpected hotel experience yet!

Sir Edgars B&B is in a beautiful and very authentically furnished house. Cordeal was very friendly and accommodating, and perfect host. Every morning a new breakfast option, everything you need.
It is not an anonymous hotel, but offers a great chance to get in touch with people in Dauphin in a very pleasant way

Room was good for the price. Beds were soft but comfortable.
Bathroom was good. It would be nice to have had a hand rail in the tub. It was a perfect hotel, linked to Smitty’s restaurant..for a short stay. The pool looked nice but it was full of kids having a pizza party.
