We enjoyed one day and night in Gander.

We enjoyed one day and night in Gander. Really enjoyed the stop at Gander International Airport with the history and the connection obviously to the 9/11 events. Our stop at Silent Witness Memorial was sad but interesting to learn of these events. We had a fabulous meal at The All New Rosie's Restaurant. Delicious and so much food. Would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Gander.

Gander is a very interesting town.

Gander is a very interesting town. It has a lot of aviation history of the early days of flying. It is a scenic town with lovely residential areas. The people are outstanding as you will find if you see the snow Come From Away. A very relaxed place to visit.

Gander is not a very big city, but convenient with having an airport in central Newfoundland. There is a lovely park "Cobbs Pond Trail". A small mall and groery store nearby and incredibly friendly people :)

Gander is a very friendly community, all the restaurant help were cheerful and eager to serve. Delivery of take out was generally twice the expected wait so food was cold and in one case not the product ordered. Some of the trails were quite muddy but I did see an otter which was great.

Staff was great and accommodating. Overall improvement since I stayed in that hotel before it became a Quality Hotel.
