CanadaThis is a very nice property where the owner is super nice and very welcoming. Each morning, Mme Majo will quick a different and wonderful breakfast. She knows the island so well that you can ask virtually any question. The main reason we will go back is her warmth. She really makes you feel like you are home.
The location is very nice also, in the lower part of the island on a hill with nice views of the water. You are close to the historic La Grave site and just 20 mins drive into the centre of the town and where the ferry comes in.

The hike up the Buttes des Demoiselles is short but very beautiful. The La Grave site is a lovely walk, and you should book a meal at the Café de la Grave to try their excellent pot en pot (a local stew). The maritime museum is interesting on a rainy day, and the restaurant Le Vent du Large is worth a visit for the live music in the evening.
