I am shopping for a home there. It is got a vibe that fits my lifestyle. The downtown is a historic gem. The little city can boast a ~5 minute drive to anywhere! I wish I had time to more walking around!

We had THE BEST INDIAN meal ever at the 1947 restaurant in Lacombe - easily equal to food quality and taste profiles at world-class restaurants in large cities.
Lacombe has NO way to get around - rent a car . The trip from airports in either Calgary or Edmonton by taxi is about $125 CAD

You need to have reason to visit Lacombe, it's avery small but friendly city. Our reason was to visit friends. It claims to have the biggest fishing lure in the world. It's worth trying the local beers at a nearby craft brewery.

We were made to feel welcome as soon as we stepped inside. Parking was outside the room.with direct access to the room but we could also leave the room internally to access the lounge where ample breakfast was provided.
The Country Club Inn is positioned on the edge of Lacombe and is quiet with easy access to the town a short distance away. Looking forward to staying again next time we visit for a holiday.
They upgraded me to a suite!! Instead of putting in one of the CN workers, they gave me this fantastic suite with a jacuzzi!! So I had my spa experience this morning!
I LOVE this hotel!! Good breakfast, excellent staff, clean rooms. I am a repeat customer and will definitely keep coming!!
the hotel itself was a little rough around the edges, nothing bad but about what you'd expect for the cost. you can tell the staff do their best, it was clean and the lady at the desk was so sweet and funny! the breakfast being a real hot meal was really great

The hotel was much more modern than I thought it would be and it was right across the street from the baseball diamond which was a big bonus since we were attending a tournament there.
I was cycling from Calgary to Edmonton found the place to stay at Lacombe as a overnight stop and reach Edmonton the flollowing day for CFL matchy at Commonwealth Stadium
