I just returned from an unforgettable vacation at a hotel in the commune of Eshi, and I can't find the words to express our delight! This hotel is a true gem of Switzerland. From the very first moments of our stay, we were struck by the incredible views of the majestic mountains surrounding us on all sides, beautiful old church and Lake Thun. Every sunrise and sunset here is a spectacle that is impossible to forget! The interiors of the hotel are beautifully designed, combining modernity and coziness. The cleanliness in the rooms is impeccable — everything was perfectly prepared for my arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that even such small details as dishwasher tablets were provided. This really shows how much they care about their guests. The breakfasts are simply magnificent! Each morning began with enjoying delicious food and a cup of aromatic coffee on the terrace. I can't help but mention the hotel staff — they are just wonderful! Always friendly, responsive, and ready to help in any situation. Their warm attitude made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you very much 🤍

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Zeit & Traum, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and beautifully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view overlooking the lake—simply stunning. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles, constant attentiveness, and eagerness to help made our experience unforgettable. A standout feature was the ever-present snacks and fruits, which were promptly refilled whenever they ran out. The attention to detail and level of care was remarkable. This level of customer service is hard to come by these days, and Hotel Zeit & Traum delivered it in spades. In short, this hotel combines a fantastic view with world-class service. If you're looking for a place that feels like home, with a view that takes your breath away, and staff that treats you like family, Hotel Zeit & Traum is the place to be.

We did fair amount of hiking in the mountains and it was fantastic to come back to Beatus, relax at the spa and have great meal and rest. View at the mountains and the lake was superb, we liked salt water and inside pool, swimming in the lake, food: breakfast, dinner any snacks, relaxing atmosphere. Pier for the lake boat was right by the hotel. Staff was always helpful and fantastic. Great service.

Fantastic stay at Eden Spiez - we decided to splash out for our stay and thoroughly enjoyed it! The staff were incredible friendly and helpful. Though on the front side of the hotel, the room still had a lovely view of the lake; we were provided with welcome drinks, and complimentary fresh bottled water (still + sparkling) every day plus chocolates; there were apples available for guests as well, plus as a cake buffet in the afternoon. Car parking was in a secure multistorey car park, and the hotel was situated a few minutes walk from the restaurants/shops of Spiez, and lake. We did not use the spa much, but enjoyed a full body massage on the day of arrival, and will certainly look forward to using the facilities more when we return in future.

It is located right on the water, by the boat terminal for Spiez. It is a beautiful spot and a lovely small hotel. The staff were very pleasant and we were sad to leave. Definitely recommend staying here.

The hotel is under new management and maintenance to upgrade...

The hotel is under new management and maintenance to upgrade the hotel are in full process but as a guest it did not bother me at all. It will take probably some time but in the meantime the place is clean and well taken care off. Breakfast was excellent, the staff is very help full and makes you feel at home. it has a great terrace with a Beautiful view over the valley. Only point of attention is the parking space, there is a private parking garage with a only few reserved spaces for the hotel but the rest is shared with the neighbors. parking around the building is kind of a challenge but a public parking is 100 meters away. All in all I would certainly recommend the hotel and would re book the hotel in a heartbeat

Quiet, idyllic, mountainside area with beautiful views.

Quiet, idyllic, mountainside area with beautiful views. Easily accessed by car from the north, and by a train ferrying cars from Brig in the south to Kandersteg. Lots of hiking, biking, and other mountainside options with easy access to Interlaken and the surrounding tourist spots.

Quiet little town with excellent links to neighbouring...

Quiet little town with excellent links to neighbouring larger towns. Many farms in the neighbourhood have a wee fridge containing their own cheese or smoked sausage etc. Simply pay at their honesty box and enjoy the flavours of the local countryside….ready made picnics for our walks.

The view from the hotel is absolutely stunning, the terrace is a place you can spend hours on. It is in a relatively remote location, so you do feel like you are in the mountains. The restaurant was also pleasant even if a bit expensive. I would definitely stay here again.

Large room with great views, excellent sauna. As per some comments, it is not the most modern hotel anymore, but it still has its charm. Everything was functional and clean.
