This place exceeded our expectations—it’s even better than the photos! The region is absolutely stunning, surrounded by beautiful mountains, and the breakfast area offers a breathtaking view while you enjoy delicious local food. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and there’s plenty of parking available at the accommodation. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and the entire place was beautifully decorated for Christmas, which added a magical touch to our stay. They even prepare fresh eggs for you at breakfast! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and will definitely return!

I just returned from an unforgettable vacation at a hotel in the commune of Eshi, and I can't find the words to express our delight! This hotel is a true gem of Switzerland. From the very first moments of our stay, we were struck by the incredible views of the majestic mountains surrounding us on all sides, beautiful old church and Lake Thun. Every sunrise and sunset here is a spectacle that is impossible to forget! The interiors of the hotel are beautifully designed, combining modernity and coziness. The cleanliness in the rooms is impeccable — everything was perfectly prepared for my arrival. I was pleasantly surprised that even such small details as dishwasher tablets were provided. This really shows how much they care about their guests. The breakfasts are simply magnificent! Each morning began with enjoying delicious food and a cup of aromatic coffee on the terrace. I can't help but mention the hotel staff — they are just wonderful! Always friendly, responsive, and ready to help in any situation. Their warm attitude made our stay even more comfortable and enjoyable. Thank you very much 🤍

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Hotel Zeit & Traum, and I must say, it was one of the best experiences I've ever had. I've stayed in hotels across nearly 40 countries, and this one easily ranks in my top three. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and beautifully designed, but what truly sets it apart is the breathtaking view overlooking the lake—simply stunning. While the location itself may not be the most central, the incredible view more than makes up for it. You truly feel like you're in a tranquil, scenic paradise. However, the most memorable part of my stay was the warmth and hospitality of the staff. Everyone went above and beyond to ensure we felt welcome and comfortable. Their genuine smiles, constant attentiveness, and eagerness to help made our experience unforgettable. A standout feature was the ever-present snacks and fruits, which were promptly refilled whenever they ran out. The attention to detail and level of care was remarkable. This level of customer service is hard to come by these days, and Hotel Zeit & Traum delivered it in spades. In short, this hotel combines a fantastic view with world-class service. The staff always made me feel welcome and appreciated, very personable and lots of attention to detail. Special thanks to Alex ant the front desk and Roman at the Spa for their kindness. The spa is wonderful and included with great sauna and steam and a very good size panoramic pool. The feel of the hotel is elegant and classic. Wonderful piano music with dinner. Incredible breakfast with wonderful staff.

The accommodation was perfect. The staff were extremely kind and welcoming, and the breakfasts were excellent. Personally, I only spent time at the hotel for breakfast and overnight stays, as I spent most of my days hiking in the mountains. But everything was just perfect, and if the opportunity allows, I would be very happy to return! :)

The staff are lovely and friendly. Check-in and check-out are super quick and efficient. Rooms are simple but it has everything we needed. The bed was very comfortable, an extremely clean room and bathroom (honestly impressed, congrats to the cleaning team), the shower with good pressure and hot water (after arriving from a day walking in the snow and rain it was like heaven!). The food at the restaurant is absolutely delicious and the staff again super friendly and accommodating, always placing guests with the best views of the lake. We had a free upgrade of the room to a lake view - lovely view from the balcony. Family-owned business and you can see the attention to detail is perfect 👌🏼 it's the small things that make a great stay. Free car park (what a treat in this country) and a traditional lodge feeling. My favourite hotel of the holiday.
