Chez Catherine...this B&B is an excellent and elegant place, the host Catherine is a wonderful, Italian lady who makes you feel at home and very welcome instantly. At breakfast you are being served fresh croissants, fruits etc. Dinner is wonderful with different options of fondue....with a wonderful view on the snowy mountains. There is a bus in front of the B&B which regularly goes up and down to Sion. We stayed in a very clean and cosy 2 bedroom-apartment.

Lovely location. Super great for the ski season with new lift opposite that takes you to ski school meeting place Hotel very traditional with a modern feel, super cosy, warm with open fire for the evening. Food is super. Been there in season and out of season now. Service and quality of food great. Staff really attentive. Would have no hesitation in recommending

The problem was that the owner was in hospital when we...

The problem was that the owner was in hospital when we arrived, and we had not been advised of anything. So we had to find somewhere else. Then Booking tells us that the owner would be there the next day (doubtful given she had an infectious disease), while we had already booked somewhere else for our stay. Booking then had the temerity to charge us for the two nights we were not there. No point in resisting - a bit like Easy Jet, easy to order, a nightmare to get reimbursed. Not impressed at all by Booking, after all these years as a customer.

The chalet is in a fantastic location on the mountain with...

The chalet is in a fantastic location on the mountain with wonderful views. It was very comfortable for the whole family (7 people) and we had everything we needed. It's not far to the ski slopes, you can go hiking, and you can also go down to the valley for larger shopping trips. Andrea and Patrick are very friendly and helpful hosts.

I had read many positive reviews, but none of them matched...

I had read many positive reviews, but none of them matched my experience. There was an illegible note on the door saying she would be back at 5 pm, when we could arrive at 4 pm. She opened the bistro and, on the doorstep, simply told us our room was upstairs, it was called "Océane." There was no welcome, no information about lunch.

Ideally located 10 minutes from Sion. Lovely views of the mountains and valley. The irrigation channels (bisses) are nearby. Shaded terrace, but along the road. There's also a small terrace facing the mountains and valley. Very pleasant owner and staff. A lovely menu

Everything was perfect. A very warm welcome.

Everything was perfect. A very warm welcome. The owner was incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready to help. The room was very pleasant with a lovely bathroom and a breathtaking mountain view. Good breakfast. Spotlessly clean. Well done, this is what you call Swiss hospitality!
