We had a very relaxing long weekend i Hotel Bad Schwarzsee. Our room had a great view on the mountains and it was very spacious. The balcony with table and chairs was also very useful. The breakfast was great with lots of great selection of bakery, cold meat, cheese, fruits and drinks. We would be happy to come back again.

Great place! Amazing location. Good facilities. Very helpful staff. Ideal for the family stays. Nice swimming pool. There is a big kids room to play at the restaurant while parents are enjoying dinner or any other meal. Good quality restaurant.

The staff were thoughtful and accommodating, catering to our needs. We were a large group and had a seamless check-in. The kids and elderly loved it. The staff at the kitchen were kind enough to meet our special dietary needs (vegetarian/no pork).

Super clean, well kept, very nice and helpful people. The fridge has free drinks. The kitchen has everything you need. In addition to that, these very friendly and helpful people provided us with some with king prawn from their house as we forgot to buy it on our way to their place. Not only this, but when we checked out they gave a home made jam as a gift. Don't hesitate to stay in their peaceful place. Strongly recommended.

At a 1400 m above sea level, this is a wonderful place to stay if you prefer fresh air, great views and a warm home feeling. Everything in the rooms exceeded our expectations. You really feel like you're in your own house. The stuff in the restaurant is also very friendly. We checked in late in the evening, but they made us a dinner although it was at the end of the restaurant's working ours.

I was travelling with my family and we arrived late to the Pension. They made it easy to find, however, with lots of directions and communication. We were greeted with warmness, and showed to our well appointed, immaculate rooms, where we all slept very well., My mom says: “Exceptional service and ultra clean, with really high quality bedding.” My dad says “I would recommend to a friend, and I would go back there”.

The most important thing is the peace and quiet. The site is surrounded by mountains, and a lake sits at the bottom of the valley. There are opportunities for walks. The food is excellent, with a choice of classic dishes or pizzas. The advantage of being somewhat isolated is the price and the tranquility. Compare it to Charmey.

Schwarzsee is a little gem in the Alpine region.

Schwarzsee is a little gem in the Alpine region. Here, they've managed to preserve its charm while integrating modern amenities, and thankfully, not too much development has taken place. The landscape takes center stage. Nature and relaxation. Modern gastronomy.

Great for a weekend!

Great for a weekend! For a longer stay, a room on the first floor with a balcony directly overlooking the lake is recommended. Rooms on the second floor only offer a partial view of the lake, but are still lovely (despite the parking lot). The partition walls between the individual rooms' balconies had been removed, resulting in a lack of privacy! A good, traditional breakfast was served, offering a wide variety of options.

We had an excellent stay. The hotel is perfect for families with children, there is a playroom underneath the restaurant to allow for a quiet dinner among adults. Staff is very friendly, the rooms and facilities are very clean. Always a please to stay at Hostellerie Schwarzsee

Location perfect, paradise. Staff is nice and kind. Lobby and interior of hotel is stylish and made with care, nice details. Breakfast is solid, just enough of choice (but no veggies or variations of eggs).
