The location is beautiful and very quiet and peaceful. The hosts are warm and welcoming and extremely helpful. The room was well equipped with lovely little extra touches like a toothbrush and toothpaste each!

Nice welcoming staff at the reception as well as in the breakfast restaurant. Excellent breakfast by the way. The rooms are pretty small but original. Small bathroom also but everything was practical. There is an esspresso coffee machine in the room. And it tastes really good. The hotel itself belongs to a wide training center. with plenty of facilities among which a fitness, sports hall and a sauna. I really appreciated relaxing there.

The person at the reception/restaurant was very kind and helpful and able to make arrangements so I could have a room even though the one planned for me wasn’t ready yet due to a scheduling error. Very helpful. The cheese at the breakfast is very good and they showed me a device they use to scrape delicious ‘cheese flowers’ off it. There is a mosquito net to cover the bed with - didn’t expect to need it in October but then I heard buzzing at night and was thankful to have a net to put up.

The property is a beautiful house that makes you feel literally at home. When we booked a BnB with shared bathroom, even seeing the pictures, we couldn’t imagine it would be so warm, welcoming and comfortable. At the beginning it was a bit confusing to find the right door, but once we were there the owner treated us greatly, very attentive and always smiling, yet fully respectful with our privacy. Breakfast was great, all fresh and a good variety, all nicely presented (see pictures)

Too isolated.

Too isolated. We chose it because we wanted to explore the Jura a bit, and it seemed a good distance from various villages/places, but in reality it seemed very far from everything. The Jura in general disappointed us; there's almost nothing for tourists in the villages, and once you've seen the beautiful meadows with cows and horses, there's not much else unless you plan on taking long hikes.

A better description of the location, including precise...

A better description of the location, including precise directions to the accommodation, would be desirable. As non-French-speaking hikers, we would never have found the accommodation through the cheese museum (whose staff were friendly and helpful).

The location is central for exploring the surrounding area.

The location is central for exploring the surrounding area. Having a car is essential for traveling from one valley to another and discovering the Jura region. Within a 30-minute drive, you can visit the banks of the Doubs River, stroll along a pond, see the wind turbines, or climb the Moron Tower. Don't miss the chance to try the Tête de Moine cheese fondue.
