Fantastic hotel. We got upgraded to a room with a view to the lake and it was gorgeous The staff was very nice, and Benni always made us smile There was a fan you could use when it was warm. The hotel has a pizza restaurant which we recommend as well

The view of the this hotel is magnificent, on the one side you have the mini houses view, on the other side you get the lake view. Both are magnificent . The room is also spacious and warm. Everything was great, we really enjoyed our stay.

Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very...

Bönigen is lovely as it’s quiet and peaceful but it’s very easy to get to Interlaken centre to do day trips in the area. There is plenty to do also right in Bonigen there are lots of water activities and trails. It’s beautiful the lake is stunning. We did not have a car this house is fully accessible by public transport and food can be bought in the local shops or the big supermarket in Interlaken Ost the station you will pass through when you make any trips outside Bonigen.

Location is absolutely picturesque with Lake Brienz just...

Location is absolutely picturesque with Lake Brienz just across the road. Lovely to take an evening walk or have a picnic by the lake. We just felt so relaxed. All stress just melts away. A short bus ride from the train station and can get a bit crowded due to the popularity of the area and the frequency of the bus. So leave early for any sightseeing at Interlaken and check the SBB mobile app for the bus timings. Advice - Leave early in the morning if you are going to Jungfraujoch from Interlaken, in summer.

A dream like place, lacks the hustle and bustle of city life...

A dream like place, lacks the hustle and bustle of city life...yet close to the main train station Interlaken ost...a few minutes by 103 bus..the bus stop was few metres walking distance from the property Boningen beside Lake Brienz is such a serene place .. people who enjoy nature..can spend a couple of days here and get rejuvenated..a quiet reading by the lake..ya a quick swim..ya a simply coffee by the lakeside bench... Boningen makes your wishlist come true

A good place to base ourselves for a short stay.

A good place to base ourselves for a short stay. We walked along Wanderweg paths following the river into Interlaken. A very pleasant walk 👍 Would be a good base for exploring the Brienz Interlaken Grindelwald area by motorcycle, or car, or local buses and trains.

Stay facing the lake, Boningen is well connected to...

Stay facing the lake, Boningen is well connected to Interlaken and an ideal place to stay for the best views. It also allows elderly people to stay as they dont have to climb steep roads that you would see in Murren or Grindelwald or Wengen.

It was so clean and feels like home.

It was so clean and feels like home. We cooked dinner and breakfast with ease. Complete with coffee pods and basic condiments. Recommended for you next travel. We really enjoyed our stay. We went winter and bus run every hour. No problem for us as we only need to take that bus once. You can opt to wlk for 22 mins to interlaken ost. The bathroom has no lock again no problem for us as we are family. We just knock before entering. Maybe the only problem we had was throwing rubbish away. Quite confusing where to put it

The daily breakfast was amazing and had a large spread of different things that everyone could enjoy. The location was superb. Our room faced Lake Brienz and every morning we were greeted by the sunrise. Amazing view of the lake! The hotel staff made you feel like family. In fact, the entire stay felt like I was spending a weekend at a long-lost relative's house.
