It was perfect for our family - our kids loved the play corner and its selection of toys and puzzles. The staff are very friendly, the rooms are clean and the hotel is a 15-min leisurely walk from ether the town centre or the lake.

Very nice location. Not too far from train station, very nice area with the lake, mountains and so on. The rooms are very nice, especially compared to the price. Breakfast is even included, and when I had to leave at 6am, earlier than breakfast, they made me a bag with breakfast. Everything was very nice, especially the staff. The staff was very professional.

Friendly staff, and an easy taxi ride form Zurich. It's not a luxury hotel, but it's great value for money and the bus to both ski lifts stops right outside the front door. There is a municipal pool in the same building. It was open until 9pm on weekdays but shut at 5pm on the weekend.

A lovely town with a beautiful and impressive monastery. In Winter they have a lovely Christmas market, cross country skiing and other activities. In the warmer weather you can visit the monastery, go walking and explore the town.

I love Einsiedeln,because it is such a lovely village with...

I love Einsiedeln,because it is such a lovely village with the Mountains and SIHLSEE. It has beautiful little shops, good restaurants and coffee places with their own roastery. The only problem is with Taxi cars: none available at the centralstation,when one arrives by train. How come?? My favourite place was the MONASTERY, walking around through KLOSTERWALD and the horses there.Another nice walk to SIHLSEE. There is MIGROS with affordable food to buy and their restaurant,which serves good meals. Good connections by train and bus. And the annual Christmas market infront of the monastery is just wonderful.

The Abbey had a service on when we visited so didn't go in, but it is still worth a visit even for the outside, especially in the evening when it is lit up. They have open air theatre shows often which should be planned for in advance if this is your thing. It is a very friendly town, and everyone we spoke to was polite and helpful. Though there are plenty of restaurants but we didn't use any of them as we chose to buy local food and drink from the supermarket to enjoy on the hotel roof terrace :) The town is very picturesque, but be aware that some of the streets are quite steep as it is situated on a hillside.

Must-sees: the church and monastery, the Mythen region near...

Must-sees: the church and monastery, the Mythen region near Brunni, and the Swiss wrestling festivals held locally or nearby. Public transport is ideal (also for excursions to places like Zurich or Lucerne). Numerous hiking and cycling tours are possible.

World theater, otherwise we would never go to Einsiedeln; too much commercialism, too much Baroque kitsch in the church. A magnificent monastery complex, unfortunately marred by some unsightly surrounding buildings. Prices in the restaurants are too high!

I always enjoy coming back to Einsiedeln because I love the Chapel of Grace with the Black Madonna. You should really plan at least three days for Einsiedeln. This time, unfortunately, I was only passing through.

The staff is very helpful, friendly, understandable, great, generous and fresh breakfast, great place to be, I believe this is going to be my second home from now on once in Einsiedeln 🥰 I deeply felt in love with the place and I love having real conversations with real people! Even though I arrived late for check in, there was a staff at the reception. Safe place as well 🥰

Aside from the very good location (very near to the Einsiedeln Monastery Abbey), the Hotel has excellent service. Their hotel staff are very accommodating and very helpful during our stay.

I’ve been at this hotel many times and like to stay there. Unfortunately there is no fridge and no hot water kettle in the room. Otherwise it’s a comfortable,friendly hotel.
