It was an exceptional experience. The hotel location is in Meggen 12 minutes away by bus to Central Lucern. The view, the cleanliness and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful, especially Miss Leean. Good food and breakfast The hostess was caering and attentive during all morning encounters. we enjoyed our time at the hotel. It is recommended if you don't mind the stairs.

This city is a short distance from Lucerne. There are frequent trains that go to Lucerne and further into Unterwalden. The main attraction in Hergiswill is the glass works and its museum and restaurant. There is a boat that stops there. One of its benefits is hotels that cost less than Lucerne Hotels and offer great views of the Lake. Consider it a suburb of Lucerne.

A typical little Swiss village, I love it. Very close to Stans to take the little train and the cabrio cable car, it was a lovely walk, which you can also do on foot, but you need to be in good shape.

A good starting point for hiking; you can hike directly into the mountains; it's quite a distance from here to Mount Pilatus, and not feasible in winter due to the light, but it's generally possible. Lucerne is also only a few kilometers away.

The glassworks is well worth a visit.

The glassworks is well worth a visit. The museum is beautiful and uniquely designed, and many other attractions await visitors. Prepare to be surprised! For hiking enthusiasts, the surrounding area offers numerous opportunities. Lucerne is easily accessible by public transport, and a boat trip on Lake Lucerne is always worthwhile.

A place not overrun with tourists, where people actually live. The train station and boat landing are within easy walking distance. Good shopping facilities. Train connections for excursions in all directions are available in no time. Boat trips are also possible.

A small cozy town beautifully located on the shores of Lake Lucerne. It is very easy to get to from Zurich, and everything is quite fast and clear. Perfect for visiting the Pilatus mountain range, the city of Lucerne: trains run frequently, strictly adhere to the schedule, travel close. For lovers of water transport, there is an opportunity to use a boat.

Where to start! We stayed for part of our honeymoon, I had been so excited to stay somewhere with such incredible views and it did not disappoint! The apartment is modern,clean with a rustic charm. The view is breathtaking. Larissa, Beat and the whole family were welcoming and so friendly! (Including the cats!) We would 100% stay again. Parking is great- under a carport so very safe. Hergiswil is a great place to stay near Lucerne especially if driving. Our stay was a highlight of the whole honeymoon.

The Seehotel Pilatus is located in such a beautiful and accessible location and is a fantastic hotel with incredible helpful staff, breathtaking views and we particularly enjoyed the spa and thermal suite. Nadine in reception was so helpful to us, she was very approachable and went out of her way to help us on several occasions, one being loosing my bag on public transport! She immediately contacted the transport company to help me retrieve my bag.

Beautiful lake view from my single bed room. I was given a free upgrade to the lakeview room. Room cleaning is top notch. The bed is extremely comfortable. The Spa and wellness area is exceptionally well maintained and a pleasure to use, bathrobes, towels, and slippers are provided. The hotel restaurant has a high quality and tasty menu, in a cozy atmosphere. Free parking outside of the hotel.
