The first day of our Swiss journey began at this very hotel, and we were delighted that our very first impressions of the country started here. The place felt truly magical—just like Switzerland itself. The hotel is located on a peninsula, and we were given rooms overlooking the lake. Waking up to such a view, it took us a moment to realize we were not still dreaming. Since we arrived late at night, the staff had thoughtfully prepared envelopes with our names and room keys waiting for us—every detail carried a sense of care. Breakfast could be described in two words: refined simplicity. Everything essential for a moderate yet fulfilling start to the day was there. We loved the hotel so much that on our way back, we stayed there again. Each room had a small refrigerator with two beers inside, priced at 5 Swiss francs. And, by the way, in every room, tucked inside a drawer, there was a Bible. We travelled by car, for which there was free parking here.

The hotel is very good. Great view for the zurich see. Breakfast is very good, also location, near a mall, shops, and restaurants. They allowed us to stay intul 2pm because we were travelling to Brazil. Very nice employees. IS the second time we stay there and will come back.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and attended to every detail with professionalism and warmth. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, offering all the comforts I could ask for, including a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch — I especially enjoyed the relaxing spa and the delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options. The location was perfect, close to major attractions and public transportation, making it easy to explore the city. Overall, this hotel exceeded my expectations in every way. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, luxurious, and memorable stay. I will definitely be returning on my next trip!

Breakfasts were a little pricey, but very good food. The location on a hillside overlooking Lake Zurich was fabulous! Wonderful views every single day with nice walking opportunities, too. Excellent stay for us!

Staff are excellent. Top notch customer service. Location across from train station meant we were in Zurich within 15 mins. View of the lake is beautiful and a nice way to wake up. Breakfast is excellent and overall a high quality experience. Would absolutely stay again. Quick walk to shops, drugstores, and groceries.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, although the view from our room wasn’t the best (we looked out onto the neighbours’ windows). One definite plus was how peaceful it was, with birdsong in the mornings – at least until the neighbours and their children woke up! The beds were comfortable, with crisp white linen. The large bathroom with a long bathtub was also a lovely touch. Breakfasts were fairly standard, though the organic yoghurt served in little glass jars was worth a mention.

Gasthof Seefeld is a nice Hotel located by the lake on the dam just outside of Pfäffikon. The room was small but comfortable and clean but the best thing is the “Sonderbar” and the Restaurant. Super nice staff, unconventional dishes at a very good quality, very delicious 🤤 and great value. Will definitely book again

The hotel highly exceeded our expectations. The check in was smooth, we appreciated a free room upgrade. The parking is free. The bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was really amazing, we enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere and fresh products.

Small, and well-equipped room, friendly staff, very nice restaurant on-premise, ample parking directly in front of the hotel. Simple but fully adequate breakfast. Nice view from some rooms.
