Very nice staff and amazing breakfast spread. We booked a room with shared bathroom but they upgraded us to their best room since it's vacation time for them and less number of guests. They view from the balcony of the room is Amazing. The hotel feels like a cozy, antique decorated home. Very authentic swiss vibe in a small cute village. Remote location but that's the charm of this place.

The hotel is superb, everything was of higy quality. The location is perfect: not exactly in the center, but is quite and picturesque, only a few minutes walk to the center, and in the best position in Gstaad regarding the view to the mountains. The Deluxe Suite is spacious, it has a very big balcony with wonderful view to the mountains (Wispile). The breakfast was delicious and varied, the room was clean, and the staff very helpful and polite. So, everything was perfect to spend some memorable days in Gstaad!

All the staff was excellent, smiling and very attentive. Almost everyone speaks at least German, French and English. The facilities are great, and despite the size of the hotel, you can feel a personal approach towards the guests.

The great hospitality of the friendly host who provides great communication prior to arrival and recommendations of ski guides. Highly recommend you take the half board option and enjoy superb dinners prepared by host chef. 5 star cuisine. I slept so well because of the soft pillows n bed.

    There is a fabulous restaurant downstairs in the hotel. It is a nice old building which is very Swiss and we appreciated that aspect. The room was clean and comfortable. We had a balcony with seating to enjoy right above the creek. We didn't stay in Lauenen that long as we were heading out the next day on a hiking trip but the hotel was located in a place where it was easy to walk to or catch the bus to other locations nearby. It was easy to take the bus from the Gstaad train station to the hotel.

    We loved the old-fashion feel of the hotel combined with modern comfort such as top quality sheets and bed. Although there was not a lot of space to hang clothes and coats, there were two towel racks. In my experience even 5-star hotels often only provide one towel rack in a double room. The breakfast had a wide choice of bread, marmalade, cheese, cold cuts, cereals, juice and eggs. Good coffee and tea.

    The breakfast was a lovely buffet with a variety of yummy things to eat including breads, cereals, cheese, yoghurts, jams, juices, eggs and enough coffee to start our day and fuel us for our hike. Thank you to the wonderful Hotel Wildhorn staff!

    The Hotel delivers what is proposed. Nice for one night stay. The breakfast was delicious and the staff are super symphatic. The view from the room is beautiful, and the location is also a good advantage.
