The rooms were very large, clean, comfortable and quiet. The facilities and surrounding grounds were beautiful and very easily accessible. The museum and wine-tasting was a very interesting and enjoyable addition to our stay.

It was a pleasure and also an honor to stay in a castle with a so long history. We liked the kindness of the hosts, the great parking opportunities and travelling with a dog it was nice to have dog friendly walking areas nearby.

The hotel itself it's very welcoming, decor, staff, ambience, it's really a pleasant place. The spa it's very well preserved and clean, and has everything one could ever need to relax and have a good time. The room was super clean and comfortable, the attention to details like little gifts or personalized welcome cards were the cherry on top! The restaurant it's also a must, very good food and professional staff. Breakfast was on point, a lot of variety and was the perfect way to end our visit to such a lovely place. Will definitely return, its simply one of the best hotels I've ever been!

Rally nice, close to the lake. Everything was perfect, the room was really clean, breakfast was perfect and the view of the room (lake view 🪟 combined with the silence was gold... beautiful )

Wonderful location just next to the lake. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. The top rooms overlooking the lake have stunning views and the rooms overlooking the garden have big balconies. Most of the rooms are suitable for people with disabilities so they are very large, super practical and very well isolated for noise.

It was not my first stay but I am not disappointed this time either. The location is close to the centre, the room was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was satisying. Bonus that the bike rental is complimentary and the lake is really close.

Awesome location to chill and have relax time with your partner. However, if you are by walk and wish to go out for dinner/drinks it may not the best since during the week most of the restaurants around are closed.

Salenstein and Arenenberg, beautiful views!

Salenstein and Arenenberg, beautiful views! I really liked Ermatingen. Ate at the bistro. In the evening, I drove to restaurants because the bistro/restaurant closed at 6 pm. Beautiful surroundings that are best explored on foot. Oh, lovely with gardens and fountains, a chapel, a castle, etc.

Nice place.

Nice place. It's a shame that it's not possible to enjoy the hotel in the evening... Also, the recommended restaurants were often full in the evening and you had to travel quite far.
