Central location. Beautiful looking hotel with modern decor. Friendly staff. The sauna area was an added treat. We had the place to ourselves. The mountain views surrounding the whole town were picturesque. Lovely outdoor terrace for dinner & drinks. Cute town, great base for us (we had a car) to spend the day doing Grindelwald/interlaken (1 hr drive) without having to pay the hugely expensive prices of those towns. And also mount Pilatus which was only 25min. I would recommend this hotel for sure

We have been recommended by our friends to stay in this beautiful Villa for our holiday. Everything is so good and that exceed our expectations. We have a nice host to guide us how to use the facilities. He also greeted us in person and treated us with wine and juice and …….We are so thankful to him. We made a perfect holiday next to the beautiful lake and got fantastic view. The panoramic lounge has been well maintained by the host with very clean windows. It’s a great resort that you won’t regret visiting! I highly recommend you to try!

A beautifully equipped villa—very spacious and cosy, with a large kitchen that invites long breakfasts or dinners. We stayed for two nights and got to climbed the peaks and see alps in the distance which was breathtaking! The half board option is really ideal for us and helped us to secure nice table and food choice. They also provide us free cable or cogwheels tickets for the 2nd day that allowed us to decent to Kriens and Lucerne. We would highly recommended this place to stay for at least two nights if you love mountains and nature. The staffs are thoughtful and friendly.

    It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited.

    It is a small town with not many tourists when we visited. You won't find any typical souvenir shops here (with fridge magnets, key chains, cow bells etc.). Also, every supermarket is closed on Sunday, so plan accordingly.

    Sarnen is so beautiful with lush green hillsides, breathtaking views of the surrounding Alps, pretty streams and a peaceful lake. There are lovely walking trails and parks with boating activities and fantastic amenities. We were only able to stay a short while, but enjoyed a delicious dinner at Molini's, which we highly recommend. Everything we needed for our brief visit was within walking distance, or easy walk to the nearby train station.

    Sarnen is a lovely little town, with a wide range of shops, two supermarkets and a garage. There are lots of walks in the surrounding area which are well signposted. A small river runs through the centre. The town has a range of restaurants. It was very well situated for our overnight stop on a drive down to Italy.

    The apartment had more than enough parking, was really warm, cozy and clean. Host was so generous with tons of welcome food and wine. It was equipped with a washing machine, tumble dryer and a dishwasher. Just felt like home. Sarnen was a nice quiet town with a 50 minute drive to Interlaken, a bit closer to Luzern. Next time I won't be going all the way to Interlaken, but there are tons of places to enjoy near Sarnen. Would love to come back soon.

    A beautiful location in Sarnen which is a very pretty town. Ideal for a pre dinner stroll. Friendly staff and although we arrived quite late chef stayed to make us a meal. Breakfast was great with a good selection. An upgrade to the panoramic suite was very welcome after a long drive. The hotel is a very calm and peaceful place to stay even though it is in the centre of town.

    Gorgeous hillside views from this second floor room in a quiet but convient location. Free parking available under trees at the right side of the hotel. Nice modern styling to the interiors. Helpful staff at the Hotel Krone, we were particularly grateful for the late checkout.
